Black for this event… I’m manifesting silver for the next and gold for the Grammys.

I listened to most of the album on my walk/while running some errands, I only have Mirror left to listen to but this album is truly baroque renaissance rock, and it’s their own little universe and I’m loving it! Gjuha sounded as special as it did when I heard it live in November, no idea what the words are but I’m sure I’ll find out sooner or later. I’ll have to listen to the album a few more times to properly take in the lyrics! Beautiful sound and inspirations, it’s a great album! I just wished the opening track was mixed a little differently, I’ve heard live orchestra recordings with horns sounding more bombastic and flutes more fluttering in the distance BUT I still think it’s wonderful.

I can’t get over the feeling that this will be 2020 all over again and I’ll just end up super disappointed at the academy, because I really want her to win this year, I mean, I did last times too but, Ocean Blvd and its songs are just on a different level and... I just know people online will be mean if she wins though, saw a tweet calling her a “raging Zionist” this morning with like 60+k likes.

Lasso sounds so unimaginative and plain compared to her previous album titles, I don't know, I'm lowkey hoping it'll be changed to something else

The male critic sounds like a stan who can’t grow from his tween years and be an adult and do his job properly, he literally sounds like a Twitter troll stan lmao. I bet he’s old and can’t hear well and can’t hear what Lana’s whispering about and just gave up lol Also, what he said about SZA’s Kill Bill??

I’m not a Nicki or Megan fan, don’t know many of their songs tbh, but from what I’ve heard and read about online, Megan thee stallion released a song (I think it’s called Hiss?) and there was one lyric line in particular that made Nicki go really mad, thinking it’s about her and/or her family. No names were mentioned though. Nicki’s brother has been sentenced to prison for sexual assault of a child, while her husband raped someone when he was like 16, and she’s defended both their actions. And she’s mad at Megan, made fun of the fact that she was shot in the foot and thus, her next single is called Bigfoot. I saw some screen recording of her insta live the other day, it wasn’t pretty. I hope I’ve summarized it for you, I was confused as well so I might be wrong, but this is what I’ve understood.
