So who has a turntable they can rip this from…..
-
something is wrong with y’all Girl so confusing is not only the best track on the album (by far) but also an immaculate discography highlight….im frankly disgusted by the hate! Let’s direct that towards talk talk (the 1975 reject) and rewind (great song aside from the hideous tongue twister second verse about billboard) instead. Xx

Mean girls just pissed me off…tbh I’ve had enough of AG for a while, and I never thought I’d say that as a fan of PC Music since the soundcloud days. His production is just starting to get stale and he’s gone TOO far adding that nasty plinky piano to a Charli club album. Next album I want George and Easyfun alone
-
I don’t want features on remixes for the most part I want different production + extended song lengths
-
Hoping the trancey arpeggiated version comes too
-
okayyyyy perspective shift!!! this changed my whole view of the song…and it makes sense. bc first you have to walk to the club. And then you get there and as you’re in line you start to think to yourself “hmmm…when I get (in)to the club, I want to hear those club classics”… and then you walk in and you start to hear them. I should have never doubted her 🥰

She’s saying “work angles” like as in working your angles in a photo shoot. But it sounds wrong and weird without an extra word
-
Yeah having heard (a possibly remixed version of) So I, the snippet of 360, I think about it all the time being the same length as the leak, this really doesn’t seem at all like the club album she’s been making it out to be. Still excited but a little let down

NOOOOOOOOOO wtf TROYE??? On tour with her for her CLUB/RAVE album????? Why why whyyuyyrueyeyeyeyeueuwuwuw
-
Ohhhh I pray the sample is used in the final, this is the song I had the highest hopes for. But if not at least it should be easy to recreate the remix
-
Kristine is literally her best song some of yall lack taste SEVERELY
-
Do we know that it isn’t?
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not I flop about it all the time absolutely no way that can be made to fit the sound of the album. I’m officially scared
-
I just feel like B2b is giving normal pop song, like it could have been on Crash. I’m not understanding how it fits the club/dance record concept she’s been talking about at all, which is making me worried. Same thing with Club classics, the Partygirl remix that George played sounds better and fits the album concept more. The version she’s releasing sounds like a demo she could have made years ago, and has some A. G. isms that feel kind of played out by this point. Specifically the bass synth and its chord progression just sounds kind of cheesy and takes me out of the club moment. Idk!

Is there an updated masterpost for her? I’m trying to find downloads for I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love and Sleepover. I can only find a nightcore version of Sleepover
-
She is going to hell for not releasing the boiler room today…
-
remix sounds like absolute dog shit we want the boiler room remix

Unpopular opinion maybe but I’m glad everything with XCX world happened the way it did. I mean it’s really sad for Charli obviously, but if it had been released properly we may have never gotten Number 1 Angel, so a second mixtape never would have happened, and her entire trajectory as an artist would have changed. We’ve been so well fed as fans with smash after smash after smash (minus self titled) and that may never have happened otherwise. Plus, while we missed out on the full XCX World campaign, we still have all the songs in HQ, some with multiple versions, and tons of photos and visuals. That all makes the secret/cult classic/fan experience way more fun imo, especially now that Charles has come around to it.

Coma is a cover of pharmacoma by Jaime Brooks, she’s played it in DJ sets before
-
It was on a CD sold by pc music at one of their 10th anniversary shows
-
Right? If there’s any cover that doesn’t fit, it’s the ugly ass 5 minute photoshop mess that is the Smoke cover. So incohesive. And while I’m nitpicking, it kind of bothers me that the Billions cover is the only one using that overexposed/blown out highlights/glowy editing. I guess Aidan used that editing style a lot at the time the song came out, but it sticks out among the others. That said, she’s one of the only artists rn putting that level of care and detail into each song + her visual world as a whole and it’s so fun as a fan so I really can’t complain. Everything related to her solo career has been so gorgeous (except the smoke cover.)

Incorrect in fact all of the songs could have been singles
-
I feel like she must have still been figuring out the lyrics during this demo… they are so nonsensical in some parts and sound very spliced together
