I'll say it again, the outro was iconic. It was giving The Great Gatsby vibes.

Maybe the performance wasn't that bad as we thought and maybe we were just grouchy/ tired from staying up for hours expecting something totally unrealistic

Ok sorry for spamming but I’m just catching up and I can’t believe people are picking up on weird vibes like she was pissed or nervous. Got literally none of that irl. She seemed confident and happy. Jack was 100% pissed but Lana was glowing and happy. The way she performed reminded me of earlier performances in her career (maybe 2014ish). Maybe that’s why she seemed sad?  It’s crazy that that’s the takeaway bc it could not seem more opposite in the moment.

i do still think that her slowest songs back to back (with an exception of a few) as a setlist for coachella is an interesting choice………. but she still looked and sounded beautiful. and her singing with billie was incredible.

the faulty sound engineering and fucked up mic did not help at all, but if i was there in that crowd i would be eternally grateful to have seen that performance and im sure 95% if not 100% of that crowd did not leave feeling unhappy. a friend of mine posted her pov of the performance while actually being there and her mic did not sound the same as it did on the stream! so im sure it was even better in person

The Guardian editors’ attempts at journalism are ambitious and inspiring. But then they start typing

The intro is probably her most iconic ever, and she looks absolutely stunning. Her dress and makeup are perfect!!

The complaints about the vocals are completely valid, she is singing a bit more than I remember, but the backtrack and background singers are doing the heavy lifting, and it's not like Lana is running around the stage or exerting a lot of energy...

there is clearly sound issues though, because she both asks Byron to be louder one song, and then to go lower a couple songs later..the sound techs clearly had no idea what the mixing should have been

easily the most iconic intro and outro anyone has done ever

Woah, those who didn't like it really hated it

I definitely think they're overreacting. Sure, it wasn't her best show, but it's far from being her worst. She's always had the same energy live, it's not new. She's mentioned way many times that she doesn't feel comfortable touring and performing live, yet people seem to forget about that. The technical problems weren't her fault, it was just unfortunate

Well, most of you didn't want Taylor to join her cause she'd outshine her? Well, Billie seemed to have done exactly that according to reviews

“Del Rey has become an icon for the dour and terminally online”

I really hate The Guardian’s portrayal of us as depressed incels, especially since we probably fuck more as a fandom than every other one combined.

Same. I actually really love the community on here since we all are just so obsessed with her, but I think it’s messing with my brain…. The fact that I had myself convinced she was bringing guns out… but also that motorcycle entrance was fucking unbelievable. We really need to be talking more about that because that is some delulu shit we would’ve made up and it came true.

" This time, she rode in on a biker motorcade, clad in a baby blue sequin dress, smiling and waving like the beauty queens she’s prone to singing about. It was ambitious, lively crowd work – literal momentum to started the show off right. But then she opened her mouth."

    is completely brutal.

Aside from little mentions here and there throughout and then she talks about Lana's rendition of Howl in Episode 3 I think. I think the last episode that isn't out yet has more lana in it. It's extremely fascinating for Courtney stans or haters, but also just a great history of women in music for those who aren't and a killer playlist too boot.
