I really get a vibe that Lana isn't as proud of this record as the past ones. I don't know why but it isn't autobiographical and she just doesn't seem as close to it.

Born To Die is still unbeatable. Lust For Life doesn't compare

K-pop is a genre that's really worth getting into imo, there's some really great groups and the songs are so catchy. I hope there's more fans on this forum
 
My favorite group are Brown Eyed Girls, they're not like most k-pop groups - they have a more sophisticated and sexy image. FINALLY after over 2 years they've made a comeback

When I first bought btd, in without you I thought it was 'I love beeeeiiiing without you' which completely defeats the point of the song.
 
Then although I assumed it couldn't have been, on the bridge of TIWMUG I heard 'like a ton/tin of whales jumpin' on the train platform, crying cos they know I'm never comin' back' which it sounds nothing like but once I heard it, I always did.

Once she was staying at my house as a hotel room and I was really shy towards her but then I pinched myself because it felt like a dream (I mean why was my house a hotel? I have these dreams a lot) and then it was because when I pinch myself in a dream you feel this tingling feeling like you have pins and needles, it's cool.
 
Anyway then I thought 'Cool but not cool, at least now I can go crazy' so I ran around the room and started panicing about waking up so I sang a load of unreleased songs to look like a ~tru phan.

Don't get me wrong, I like her going in a more experimental direction, with UV and probably with Honeymoon too but BTD is iconic, I'm pretty confident that she'll never come out with an album that goes together as well as this masterpiece.

Wow, there's something really appealing about a lot of these, and when the over-the-top, psychedelic style is pulled off, it's very striking, which you managed to do. Gods & Monsters, Cruel World and Dark Paradise are probably my favourites, although I love the image you used for Pin Up Galore, faded with the waves because it really reflects the atmosphere of the song.
