honestly while the visuals were stunning thinking about bar (and now we also have edits) while watching this, the storyline is still effy :/ tbh i don't like it when mv are literal i prefer when artists subvert the explicit meaning of a video and offer a more innovative footage but since a lot of material was scraped to fit wm i can't even judge that :/ well yes of course, the production is expensive af but at that point i'd rather have BAR released now or later, she did include black beauty in the deluxe version of uv even after it was leaked

this video was so random but it also lead to nowhere, this probably means BAR was never going to be released as a mv because otherwise she would have saved it for later. it had so much potential because i loved the aesthetic of it and she looks gorgeous. I hope it's foreshadowing for a Get Free mv, a proper video with proper treatment i also kinda feel bad for the guy for appearing on such a bland lana video, don't know why tho

it makes a lot of sense if bar is included or in her mind but i really have to question lana's judgment for filming a whole music video and scrap the song from the album a bit later, at best it would be recycled footage which explains why she would chose white mustang of all the songs she could shoot a video for i don't know this sherlock stuff before something is released is tiring

oh lord please don't let me be misunderstood indeed heroin and get free (even love & cherry) are songs that i love about the record that give me the dark vibe i'm looking for, some kind of closure about the weary moments. i don't want lana del rey crying and depressed after being mistreated by events i love that it's was a phase in her life and she's moving on, i want a more mature approach in the way she tackles the dark moments of her life and how and why she should go out of them as in more of that theme ... the last three songs do that in lfl but i wouldn't mind if she went further because i know there is more to explore and anyway she could do what she wanted i'm not sending her a letter with instructions edit since i'm saying what i want, i wouldn't have minded something with the Maha Maha vibe for the witchy themes and please don't put words in my mouth it's annoying

i lit just said i would love that, not that my hopes were up because of any chance or logical explanation... i just enjoy exploring darker themes not for her (or me as a listener) to wallow in them, i find them healing
