I don't understand what grounds are Radiohead calling for them to claim 100% of a song and refuse all settlement even though it means going to court. Because like other people said in this thread they don't have much going for them, they even got sued for the same song and lost. I understand that there's a similarity in the chord progression but I thought that Lana and her team being American (and from a major label) had it covered somehow. I know RH comes off bad and greedy in this narrative but I'm really not looking forward having hateful old men and prissy hipsters comment on lana videos, and I don't think Lana has taken it lightly. Even if RH gets a small percentage of credit they will benefit from the increase in stream and interest which is bothersome theoretically but what is worse they have managed to attach bitterness to a song that was about looking for an alternative to darkness and dared to be hopeful.

We have problems over here because internet providers complain about not making enough money and spending too much on renovating our networks (optic fiber, 4g+/5g/lte) to the point the model becomes unsustainable, some are failing and some businesses manage by selling other products and it worries the central governments (and some gov even own dividends of said companies...) so it's not impossible to imagine them lobbying for this to happen tbh, especially if there's a big precedent in another western country

What I do is: 1. Choose an Image or a Gif I want to post from Google 2. Right Click and choose "copy the address of the image" (i see it in french so i don't know how it's translated in english) 3. Go back to LB and click on the Image tool (looks like a polaroid underneath the Text Color tool) 4. Paste the link and you have the image/gif on a post For me it works with all gifs and images I can find on different websites. But if it's a gif/img I have on my laptop I either upload it on tumblr and do the same thing I do above or I upload it on imgur and select the BBCode.

Timothy attached a picture, a date and a story to her allegations. If Melanie was wrongly accused she should dispute the time and the date of the fact while also using that picture. (that's what her fans are doing and it seems enough for her) Why does she need people's findings (people who don't even know her) of inconsistency to have a verbal defense of herself while she could give the correct information from her side, it's not like she denied having had a sexual encounter with her. Her statement does nothing to add to the story, she's just thanking people for their efforts to defend her.

honestly when i knew she was going to dabble on political themes i expected her to be awkward about it. And I don't think she's addressing this issues as an ultra aware SJW, on the contrary I think she's just discovering these themes and no matter how annoying some of these tumblr teens come off she doesn't have the same thirst of awareness and neither does she spend that much time on the internet looking these things up. Even with her background in philosophy, she probably kept with the metaphysics and maybe theology, and has only a very superficial knowledge of feminist theories, the social contract(s) and politics. I remember I was kinda pissed at the journalist who asked her if she was a feminist, because let's be real the way this question is handled suggests it's just a trick to use with female celebrities for click-baits. It's a damn if I do and damn if I don't situation.
