i was actually going to say that i prefer when lana collabs on other people's tracks (even tho there are only like 5/6 tracks that i know of ... oups) i don't know, bpbp and tnc are pretty to listen to tbh but i quite feel she didn't need to disturb stevie and sean all the way down to her studio for those songs... i don't like being negative -

yeah it reminds me of Noir, the texture of her voice in the backup vocals is so pleasant i still remember the first time i heard Noir, I was actually surprised I felt like her voice was in 3D or something -

i have no idea http://luxurylahomes.com/john-lautners-famed-schwimmer-house-asking-21-million/ here it says it was on sale (november), but the date is months after the SOC video (june 2014) maybe she shot the stargirl video when she was filming the BAR/WM video maybe she bought it (??? can she afford a 20 million dollars house) or maybe she added it to her list of things she's obsessed with sunset bd maybe? i don't know la -

i kinda think the same, lana's crew probably added some furniture & props for the video and the editing + water makes it look more grainy and glimmering -

all this time i thought the billboard mansion was her house it turned out it was John Lautner's Schwimmer House: -
According to a French Website source http://www.lana-del-rey.fr/2017/09/decouvrez-le-clip-white-mustang.html, the house is from a reverd architect John Lautner known for his sensual and futuristic work: http://www.archdaily.com/89548/ad-classics-schwimmer-house-john-lautner this is the chemosphere: the foster carling residence: this is all very 70s retro & futuristic Thanks for those comparisons! Didn't realize how many photos Lana has done in that house, but I also noticed it was similar to the Stargirl insta video. i love this house hahaha

apparently mesh can still be somewhat water resistant, i was a bit worried because windbreakers kinda have to prevent you from getting soaked

i just checked the currency exchange rate and if the prices i've seen are all in canadian dollars then i think it can be affordable to me, unless the price in euros gets inflated .. is the merch usually available for everyone later or it's just for the american continent? because i can't even access it on the canadian site

the 50s red knit sweater is so cute, i have something similar i love the blue sweat + race jacket, it would be so dope if we ever got to have those embroidered/stickers whatever separately i could sew them on a 80s jean jacket or something else in my wardrobe that fits me well, but that's a dream -

same. i have friends who have specialized startup and i could make a cute personalized embroidered sweater, maybe one day when i'm less lazy. i have a very critical eye DDD: perhaps it will look better when it's released, and we can't see all of it just yet anyway, lana, gurl i will buy all the music that you put out there but i won't get your merchandise i have too many projects, too many clothes already and i need to save up -

what does it mean to go on tour with somebody? like when courtney love and lana went on tour together. was one artist performing on night 1 and the other performing at the same venue on night 2, or was one the opening act for the other? -

i'm a big andy warhol fan (i mean i used to read everything about his life, he's a douche but in an interesting way). I didn't know if I was going to watch this season, but I'll try

yes lana could literally post some of her instrumentals on her vevo instead of audio onlys, plus the lyrics sheet, a week before the mv and fans would try their best to wonder how the lyrics fit the song, it would be hilarious. i always thought with the quality of her instrumentals she could sell a collateral album and get my coin -
this is horrible , i have family in italy i empathise even weaker earthquakes can be so devastating

A guy in my class lent me this book back in spring just 3 weeks before finals when the work slowed down but we had to revise anyway and then flew off to china before he could ask for it so i still have it and he's still in china and we're not even friends (i didn't even want it i had to study but he gave it to me) i'm a fast reader but not giving books back makes me anxious so I can't pick it up again and it's unfinished it's killing me Right now I'm reading what happened by hillary clinton the last book i've read was Über die Weiber by Schopenhauer including a long study on Schoppy's views on women by contemporaries and today's academics, which had me eye rolling at various moments. And poetry from Lamartine that I always keep on my nightstand hence the username

i wasn't ready for this existential question yo i'm starting to see lana everywhere, i was watching the lean on mv by major lazer for the first time (yeah it got 2 bn views) and the first shot looks like BTD, with the camera starting from the ceiling to a room and focuses on a woman in the middle wearing a flower crown even the lyrics are ... interesting now that i pay attention it's only been 2 months since the album -
holy shit two year later this song is still a mystery to be unraveled for me i'm shook how heavy it is in gender roles, i love it sm
-
i actually didn't know about them but i've seen them live during a festival because my friends were fans and i'm pretty sure i'll be there to wait for their next album, i still have to acquire their discography and discover them appropriately - i had good memories of their concert (or maybe it was just the weed )

casting a spell and telling people on social media wasn't a bit kitsch? i stay away from using the word cringe, and if the cringe police was real and effective they wouldn't let lana's discography alive just looking at how her detractors look at her lyrics, and that from every era (but BTD mainly, look at blue jeans which i love, but yeah almost every era) nonetheless i'm glad people could see over that and appreciate stuff for what it is without much unnecessary fuss
