Then again, the surprise release was something she wishes to maybe do LAST YEAR. Did she change her mind? Was Interscope on board with that when she announced it? 
the only thing that stayed the same is that she wanted a “small era” this time around.

Remembering that time lana told us about the book she was gonna write about the paranoid and doomed starlet who died in her pool.

I was thinking... perphaps we are a little thirsty, if not unappreciative. I mean, she fed us. Really. In one year we had a new album, a poetry audiobook and soon also an exclusive poetry book. We are lucky indeed and maybe we should just take some time to enjoy what we already have in store.

It's finally working again!! I was scared haha I saw people posting all the time but all I could see when I entered the topic was the ouija thing   

I've been an admirer of the photographer Robert Adams for a while now, and he did a collection called 'The New West' in the 70's, and it's giving me COCC vibes (although it's partly because Lana is currently spending time in the south)

The main thing I care about in regards to the album rn is the album cover. It can only be her best or her worst. And I have a feeling she won't even be on it, or she will be in the distance.

I really want it to have a 'vintage' or 70s feel.

I want the cover to feel 'vintage' or 70s cause I'm tired of her modern aesthetic lol. And I have a feeling she might not be in it or will be at a distance.

i think it'll be a surprise drop in september. not a very surprising surprise ofc but lana said herself many times that she'd love to do it (which was silly to say cause it ruins the surprise part but whatever)

I know she said last year she wanted it to be a surprise release, and it's funny that just now I'm actually starting to believe her. The only reason I had my doubts was because her webstore's description says "Shop official Lana Del Rey merchandise, including apparel and media from 2019's Norman Fucking Rockwell and her upcoming 2020 album Chemtrails Over the Country Club" which would imply that there would be a point when the album is made available to purchase when it has yet to be released.
 
Maybe she'll just drop the album on September 4/5 and then we'll get any videos she made after? With no pre-release singles or anything.
