I'm surprised Jack hasn't said anything about this project.

It's a place full of hope but also very full of itself? Being there feels like being in a weird paradox. It seems like a sad place to have residency in (unless you're already famous) but that's just me. It's quite beautiful to visit though. Malibu beach is a dream.

I'm very intrigued about LA. What is so special about this place that almost every artist has a song about it? And a lot of them sort of have a bittersweet tone.

the ultraviolence cover is boring, the B&W filter seems cheap and it tells no story she's literally just holding a car door

it’s a good song, but it doesn’t hold up that much. But I like the little new additions to the sound

she can clearly sing idk why she's so obsessed with whispering...at least the production is gorgeous

At least Selena Gomez can switch things up, I feel like this is the third era in a row I have tried to give her a chance only for it to be the same long drawn out words that feel like they were just ripped out of a thesaurus over an indie kid YouTube beat. Pair that with almost two minutes of the song actually starting and it’s just a recipe for my disappointment, again.
 
I feel so bad because I genuinely want to like her music, I just feel like it’s all a façade when I listen to it

Honestly if there is no pre-order or lead single or cover art or tracklist soon-ish, then I don't believe that it's coming in September.
 
Also if she just does a digital release then she is legitimately unhinged, because she knows we will buy vinyls in 55 different colours if she sells them to us. Plus 7 different CD editions, 12 cassettes, tissue box covers, ice trays that allow you to make cubes shaped like her face, etc ... 

She could do that and actually pull it off effectively too.

Literally everyone knows about this album now, its even in the coding on her website (i think?) - surely they'd have to say something by now if they really are delaying it

when it comes to lana she never disappoints music-wise. But the packaging has been a mess several times. 

I’m very very excited for COCC! I really hope that the album has more layered instrumentation, as although NFR! is a beautiful record I don’t think I’d want another NFR! in the same way I want another UV like album. But Jack is very talented so I think I can trust that whatever we get will be of excellence.
On another note I’d love for a superb album shoot. Nicole and Neil are both excellent and bringing out a vision of the album with their photoshoots (that and we also get multitudes of pictures where as we only get like three from Chuck ). And I just think mixing up album photographers again is a good call in artistic vision.
And finally please give us a UV quality box set again.

I love that despite these wild times with heated opinions and flak, that she's just doing her own thing and quietly working on her art. Can't wait!
