I've just listened to "Cardigan" and the song sounds like if Taylor tries to emulate NFR! She obviously likes Lana, we all know that, and it shows in this song imho. Can't say anything about the album yet (but I'm no TS fan so I probably won't be too euphoric...).

This album could be her best with names like THAT

I remember Jack saying that they went in a different direction from Norman with this record. I really see it having more of a folk sound.

I've been ready for a folk sound since UV came out. 
 
Glad that she isn't posting a million snippets this time around, like she did for LFL and Norman.

even if we're used to home-made lazy Lana, i know we'll get at least 1 more high budget era. LFL was pretty huge tbh, but i mean even better videos and, most importantly, artistry (a la BTD).

My gut tells me she will be in front of an airplane on the cover of this album because people who believe in Chemtrails believe it comes from a plane. I’m thinking Lana in front of a 707 or DC-8.
 
I’m pretty sure Lana quit smoking which is good because she is a vocalist.
Lana and Zella are good friends and I’m glad that she is with Lana on the road with her. Glad they are going by car instead of airplane.
 
A collaboration with Zella could very well be in order too! They covered Joni Mitchell together with Weyes Blood, so maybe!

The vinyl must have gone into production quite some time ago, I wonder if she might still have dark hair on the cover. I honestly like the blond but on recent pictures it seems like bleaching it damaged it severely, maybe that's why she cut it?

I won't be shocked if this is the first album artwork that she doesn't appear in

No need to worry! This was debunked as fan art back in May after she announced the title!

I bet we’ll get another album next year as well. She has said before that she doesn’t put out a record until she has the first and last track of the next album, and if this quarantine continues then I’m sure she’ll have time to pull together another record for the fall of 2021!

I'm calling it now, she's gonna be wearing that gingham shirt on the album cover, the one she keeps wearing in her Insta posts.
