    i have the years saved for every song & sometimes i make playlists w songs that go together but i don't want to organise songs in seperate albums bc i've done that & it took me ages to find a song

    But it's worth it  :defeated:  :defeated: I spent my entire Summer doing that with all of my artists (I had some done but like not Lana) & I feel soo much better know.  :flutter: OCD much?

    OK sorry for my terrible topic title couldn't think of a bloody thing to call it  :facepalm:

     

    Anyway, in Gramma the chorus is "Gramma said she'd leave the lights on for me, Gramma said the flags are wavin' for me, Gramma said that somewhere out there there's a good man waitin' for me" & every time I listen to it (like everyday) I interpret her saying she'd go out partying & Gramma would leave the porch light on.

     

    Some people (I've heard) said "oh she meant leave the hall light/night light on for her cause she's a kid" but if she's a kid why would Gramma be talking about 'finding a man' so early in her life? 

     

    I hope this hasn't been posted elsewhere & I've put it in the right place but some of it is the way you interpret lyrics vs. what I do. Just wanting some feedback on this.  :P

    1. The old moderator of LDR.fm (bless her heart) said that 'American Dream' and 'Damn You' were the same, I think...if not, someone else who would know confirmed it along the way. 

    2. I am pretty sure the original uploader of T/MA gave us those tiles for it, and he got it straight from Lana. 

    3. Pretty sure it's the opposite - I think PMIAM is the album title, and the video is called the other one. Something like that. 

    4. They're registered as either alternate titles or as the same song...not sure where, though. :(

    It's registered as Marilyn Monroe, with a registered alternate title of Puppy Love. So other way round.

    You're right I forgot about that. I don't know why I didn't check before I asked but thanks to you too  :hooker:

    OK so sorry a couple questions:

     

    Do we have any proof Damn You is American Dream? Same for Trash / Trash Magic being Miss America? Wasn't Put Me In a Movie the real title & Little Girls was an AKA title?

     

    When did Lana mention Marilyn Monroe as Puppy Love on Facebook? Like was MM a working title & Puppy Love was the final title?
