The Lana / Marina collab is highly plausible though not confirmed.

Maybe it won't be for LDR6 (it could end up on Marina's new album where Lana will be doing OOOhhhs and Aahhhhs like her previous collabs this year lol).

I wasn't so sure about the possible blend of the voices of the 2 when LFL was in pre-release and everyone was going nuts about a possible Marina collab. And yet, I think her ASAP Rocky collabs are really good (and I was most skeptical about those too), and her voice is perfect on every track she lent it (though sometimes almost absent). Even when people thought a duet with Florence Welsh would be nice, I never thought it could be possible until I heard Sky Full of Song. Lana and her could do something in that vein. 

So a Marina collab, if it is released, will be good. I trust Lana's instincts.

I really love all of her covers. UV is my fave, but they are all beautiful. Anyways, to be honest, the most beautiful covers she ever did were the magazine covers, especially those of the LFL era (Elle UK, Complex, Flaunt...). they always go the extra mile to me. 

Dude, they're friends and I don't think they'd record a song just for their fans. Lana seems to like recording songs with her singer/songwriter/rapper friends, so why would Marina be an exception?
That being said, I'm still not convinced that they will sound good together because their voices are so different (I'm not talking about their accents btw) but Lana has been good in every collab I've heard so maybe they'll figure it out somehow.

why y'all acting like the marina collab is confirmed? as far as i know the rumor came from twitter and we know twitter isn't reliable

Coming out of the Lana closet:

- I love how Lana's voice blends with Sean's on TNC;
- Coachella is not a bad song IMO, maybe not as polished as the ones we are used to, but there is a context;
- I think LFL's production (the song) is perfect as it is, and I don't want to hear the «Blade Runner» demo;
- LFL (the album) is not as messy and as incoherent as everybody think it is, and I love all the songs on it, in the order they are;
- I think LFL (album again) will be better understood with the next one, which should be the answers to the questions raised on LFL;
- I think Carmen is the most «meh» song on BTD (not a bad one, but I can live without);
- Florida Kilos is not my favorite bonus track on UV (Is This Happiness, Flipside and Black Beauty are);
- I find HM as good as UV. 

I stand by my choices, as unpopular as they are.

If this Sylvia/Dear Sylvia track sounds anything like it does in my head, Jack is like the worst person to produce it, so I'm glad this rumor isn't true.

couldn't agree more. i think it's not a coincidence that she's dabbled with personas since the beginning of career, it both adds to the mystery & ends up protecting her 'real identity' and privacy. so she's def one of those artists who'd lose a lot of her mystique by oversharing personal info.

We don’t how Lana’s team counts the albums. To count AKA as LDR1 would be weird since it is not accessible anymore; Paradise is considered an EP, but with 9 songs, is it still an EP? True, it is the continuation of BTD, but its narrative is clearly one of an album.

I wouldn’t mind a record made of more stripped down songs like BAR or Yosemite (that we know of) or HisB, combined with a little more « upbeat » or chill - California - vibes ones. That would be a cool summer album.
