i think moderation is key, not only to that but to everything in life, really. too many snippets give the album away and takes away the excitement, but so does a long wait with pure silence. like you said, gotta find a balance

Pop leaks on X said we could expect Lana next month! So, it's likely as y'all said that a Valentine's Day release or somewhere around that date is to be expected.

We got a song on Valentine's Day in 2023 (A&W) and in 2024 (Blue Skies), also Burning Desire in 2013, so why not something for 2025 

The goal post for any news or release continuously moving through all the seasons is a Lana staple. Eventually it will be “omg the end of summer / beginning of fall is the PERFECT time for her to announce the first single!” 

Valentines days seems so fair cause like the right person will stay (the right soulmate) so it’s meant for your love 

Perverts proved what I had already suspected: I am not a die-hard fan and prefer when her songs are closer to Preacher’s Daughter. I wasn’t expecting American Teenager type of songs here at all (it’s even almost out of place on the album tbh), I had read her description of it, read some critics, and read on her subreddit what it would about, so I knew Perverts would be ambiant but it’s not for me sadly. 
 
I have mad, mad respect for her artistry, I don’t think I’ve seen an artist approaching and planning her career as thoughtfully as she does, and fans will probably love Perverts for the reasons I don’t. The tracks are, to me, chamber music made with drones for people on a psychiatric ward, or they could be the soundtrack for a modern art showroom about mental institutions. I love ambiant music but I need a bit more melodies than what I heard on many tracks. 
 
Punish is my favourite (love that song so, so much). vacillator and Amber Waves are also good (although I can’t even hum the melody to Amber Waves tbh). 
 
Perverts, sadly, won’t be the soundtrack to my winter, but I’m glad so many of you are enjoying it

What if we get a double single on Valentines Day, she said she wanted to put out two singles by the end of the year so maybe she was planning two give us a double single all along
But in the end I'm just happy for the day we finally get to hear Henry but a bit of delusional can never hurt

Maybe Henry is a single for Valentine's Day, I think we can expect the song by then at the latest.
