Honestly this album gets better and better every listen, its really beautiful and its giving early summer vibes, which I love. Its still top3 for me

As far as I know she reworked many Mermaid vs Sailor songs for TFJ, I hope they leak one day.

In all honesty I see both Born To Die and Norman Fucking Rockwell to be tongue-in-cheek exaggerations of certain aspects of modern Western culture. 
 
On BTD, even the title itself seems to make fun of both the nihilism in American culture and the consumerism of drugs, glamor, etc. (I.e., you aren't born to live or born to succeed, you're born to live fast, consume as much as possible, and die doing so). The songs explore this teenage-fantasy-wasteland where a lot of life's problems can be escaped by having sex, doing drugs, and constantly living on the run. It's about the extremes of the excess in our culture. 
 
On NFR, the title is sarcastic. Norman Rockwell was an American propagandist who drew picturesque scenes of rural American life, and helped sell the idea of "the simple life" in suburbs and rural areas. Putting the "fucking" between his name expresses mockery and disdain of Norman and what he stood for. The songs themselves are softer, calmer, and the subject mature more introspective. The songs discuss the burnout caused by trying to create this perfect little suburban life for yourself, and in a way it echos the theme of BTD--in that whether you embrace the teenage-fantasy-wasteland of degeneracy, or try to embrace the Norma Rockwell suburban utopia, you still end up empty, alone, and craving something more concrete than either empty version of Western culture.

Marina has come back to basics and it's nice! ADIAML is one of my favorite albums of this year, it even passed Blue Banisters and Chemtrails for me. I easily classify it next to Froot. The production is perfect, the audio work is clean and of high quality. each song - although there are many ballads - is magical, worked, calm, a comfortable atmosphere with catchy songs. Ballads are not the ones I listen to most often but Marina knows how to do them so well, and this voice that she masters to perfection, impossible to be captivated... And the pop songs are great (ok the lyrics are sometimes a little wobbly but the sound is really good) 
 
I'm really happy that she made this album, that she paid attention to every detail, the title of the record is awesome, videos were simple "low budget" and they are beautiful. Great effort in terms of visuals. She was able to get the best out of her and I would like to thank her for that. Very nice album, which would have deserved greater success. A complete and thoughtful era, she clearly understood what was wrong with her old album and did not repeat those mistakes 
 
I would like her to upload the entire concert in the desert which was absolutely perfect in every way (and the sound amazing), but I understand that she doesn't as people have paid dearly to see it. exclusively, but I wait, you never know.
The deluxe is not exceptional but the songs are also of a high quality, worked and well written (Happy Loner helps me a lot). Sometimes, I find you a little harsh with her, we feel that she has given great things this year, she gives herself completely. I would like Lana to be inspired by it for her next albums.
