Catch and Release:
"Give it to me, give it to me, everything, you know how I like my word on the street"
Instead of "world on a string"...it made Lana sound like a prostitute in my mind

I enjoy this (semi-healthy) and interesting debate that's going. Since evilentity had already expressed my views (and I'm sure other's as well) on it already, I'd like to talk about something else. Something much, much more important than if Lana writes her own songs (Why is this even a question?)
Who made her wear that hideous outfit with the striped sweater and huge sunglasses? That is the most white girl Hollywood Bling Ring (Well, sort of Lana, I guess) outfit and un-Lana-like ever. The styling is so questionable and this time I'm pretty sure it's not Lana. Why can't Nylon just make their photoshoots a little more polished? Some of those photos are horrible, especially how bad the lighting is, it made her face really, really weird (as mentioned a few posts back with the funny mirrored images).

The photos look so cheap, like it's some cheap publicity for low cost clothes, especially the photo with the stripped sweater.

I fucking hate all the clothing they put her in. Just throwing that out there. The leggings and denim shorts shot looks like fucking 2006 tbh- isn't Nylon supposed to be so kewl and on it and hipster
--- I would just like to add that what I mean, is, there is nothing fashion forward about the wardrobe for this shoot. And, that's what these sort of spreads are meant to be about. And Nylon just really fucking irks me tbh.

My Lizzy Grant, she lives in a trailer park and I made a gas station to take photos of her there.

Philomene liked a post in a topic by Jazzmin in Mylène Farmer
I absolutely adore Mylène. "C'est une belle journée" is personally my favorite song of hers but I think that "Moi... Lolita" is the best song she has ever written. To be honest, I did not like MF first, even being Alizée's fan - for me lyrics of Mylène were just meaningless graphomania. They are often indeed chaotic. But when I started to understand it and also my French got a little better - I couldn't help loving her music. That's it.

She can be a star by day (aka golden catholic child) and do crazy stuff during parties and at night. I can't count how many strict catholic raised children at my school smoke pot behind their parents' back.

Ha, no, I'd bet cake she actually said 'S.' in the interview. The German word for Santa Claus used in the original article is 'Weihnachtsmann'.
