Whats up to all the good folks out there of Lana boards. Just wanted to use this story as my introduction to the message board
 
 
Been a fan of Lana's music for about year now. & What really got me into her was when i heard Off To The Races. Everything about that record just pulled me in. From her 50-60s adventurous vocal performance, to lyricism, content & just the overall production. She just really gave me an experience. Pretty soon after i started searching the net (youtube, google, & music sites) for anything related to her, and from that point on i couldn't get enough. & It was during this time where i began experimenting with a lot of the stuff i heard from her, being that im producer. Remixing some of the songs that caught my attention. Soon after a couple of the songs that i had worked on and released was noticed & realized by one of the writers, Mike Daly featured on Born To Die. & He showed his appreciation letting me know how much he loved it, and i was extremely humbled and honored. Shortly after, Lana followed me, & i just began to love her even more lol.

Tbh I don't understand all the hate Work Bitch receives.
It's a funny and perfect song for partying and dancing. It doesn't sound like the stuff we're hearing on the radio right now, it has positive energy and it makes you want to move yo ass. I mean, what did people expect ? Come on, it's pop music not some deep shit !!! She's here to entertain us and it's her lead single !!!
The sound is dope, seriously.
And she's the perfect person to tell you that tbh. This song shows so much how Britney's re-rise. She's not the comeback Britney, she's the full grown-up Britney Bitch. It's like the continuation of Gimme more/Piece of me.
 

It sounds like a Taylor Swift song. Also her voice in there is so much like the sterotypical American voice, and the melody is ugh.
Prom song (gone wrong) kind of has the same "American cliché" feeling too but it actually grew on me and I love the fact that it's about her teacher and stuff, makes the song much better tbh.
It becomes sweet and kind of dark at the same time and I understand the fact that it sounds stereotypical because she probably was very young writing it. 
This is what makes us girls is cringeworthy, too ... The rythm is good though and it's very cinematic, she manages to transform usual lives (come on, teenagers do a lot that kind of thing it's not that uncommon ) into an almost epic story.

I like some songs more than others, but the ONLY one I actively dislike and skip every single time I listen to the album is Bel Air.
Pretty sure I never listened to that song more than a handful of times.
 
Oh, I'm also not a huge fan of the most recent batch of songs, Black Beauty, AFFA, etc. (all kinda Bel Air-ish imo). If her new album sounds mostly like that,  that might become a slight problem for me.
