I feel if that was the intent the verbiage would be different. She says “releasing AND playing them at my shows”, not “releasing BY playing them at my shows.” But, I guess we’ll find out what she actually means later on in the era.

The reason I asked is because we got one remix and one instrumental edit and the instrumental edit was for the next single. So idk if she’ll follow that formula.

What do we think the secret tracks from cc/b2b will be? Remixes of them or tracks that didn’t make the album? Maybe boiler room edits?

Why is her store so awful with shipping? Still no word on the usb or vd vinyl. Don’t say that things will be shipped AND ARRIVE before something is available, and then not follow through. I gave the benefit of the doubt because I ordered them both together, so I thought they might wait to ship until last week. Although, there was no warning (like the album vinyl). Even a “sorry it’s delayed because xyz” would be appreciated. Give some kind of update.

Just double checked and the USB gets shipped out the 22nd, based on the website in the US store. The vinyl says the 15th. So I’m assuming the end of the month for streaming. Not sure why the dates/description are different. Vinyl says it will ship and arrive before they get released to streaming, usb just says it will ship before release. Doesn’t say arrive before release. Possibly to keep the hq digital files from being posted before release.

Got the VD vinyl and USB. Almost got the other brat variant but didn’t want to do 2 separate orders since that order would be held until the album’s release.

Are we sure that’s not just an exclusive variant of the vinyl? The main variant could be different. Even if it’s not, I think it goes with the theme of the album. Very euro-trash, underground. I don’t understand the hate, but then again I’ve always been more concerned with the music, than the cover.

I have no problem with the song repeating the same verse twice, since the instrumental continues to build. There’s some kind of progression. I’m assuming the Addison remix will have her doing a different verse, similar to Rihanna’s S&M and her remix with Britney. (Maybe we’ll even get a bridge?) However a 5 month gap? Surely Charlotte will release more singles in between. We need to be kept fed.

You’re right. You can dislike a song. I even mentioned that in the second sentence. I know that reading comprehension can be difficult when you’re looking to be offended and constantly pick apart every move your fav makes. However, dog piling and TRASHING the song is not really discussing it. Especially when we all know Charli reads these messages. Example: “I’m not really feeling this new track. Never really been a huge fan of Sam’s music/their voice isn’t really for me/whatever. But, I’m happy Charli is trying to keep us fed. Maybe she’ll get another hit with the GP and be able to increase her budgets.” vs ”omg. I hate Sam. Their music sucks and idk why Charli would work with them. This track sucks.” Which one sounds constructive and which one sounds like a spoiled brat? That’s all I’m going to say on it.

The amount of discourse and negativity surrounding this track is WILD to me. If you don’t like it, don’t stream it. There’s no reason to be so rude about it. Bullying her and Sam about how much you think the song sucks doesn’t accomplish anything except make you look like a bunch of spoiled, entitled brats. You’re NOT the main character. This song seems to be written FOR Sam. Not even just as a feature. I’m envisioning Sam finding themselves and who they are in the clubs and nightlife of the city and finding love for themselves through the love of someone else. It makes sense that Charli was on the verge of tears talking about the hate that Sam has been getting. She’s always been inspired by queer culture and living authentically. It’s fine if you don’t like Sam’s music, but misgendering and flat out saying they suck is pretty trash. There are plenty of artists that I don’t seek out or enjoy listening to, so I don’t. There’s no need to comment on how much they suck because it’s all subjective, anyway.
