Edit: I asked Barrie he said he plays guitar and he is also the producer of the song.

Barrie wrote the song, Lana wasn't involved in the song writing. Barrie stated it wasn't a duet, but then he featured Lana on it and after that he couldn't release the song. Probably Lana's label was not allowing him to release it.

I was watching some old videos of Kassidy and there is one video of them recording a demo and you can hear at the end of the video a woman'c voice saying 'Yeaah' and i am 99% it's Lana. So if it's Lana this is a video she recorded.

1) I believe that Black Beauty is definately about Barrie so i don't have to analyze any sentence because all of them describe Barrie

-My baby lives in shades of blue and all the other times she refers to Blue : Blue is the colour of sadness and depression which clearly fits to Barrie
-But I can't fix him, can't make him better And I can't do nothing about this strange weather : She can't do anything to change him and make him better = take him out of his depression . Maybe weather could be about his strange mood or about Scotlands weather compared to LA?
-I can't break through your world: She said that Barrie has his own world so that makes him a very dark person and makes it difficult for them to get along.
 
Obviously the rest about the Chevy Malibu etc aren't about Barrie. They could reffer to someone else and she have mixed them to create the song or could be completely taken from her imagination.

It's been a while since the last time i posted here. So as posted above Cold Coffee is out you can purchase it in iTunes, Amazon, Tidal, 7digital (UK), Google Play.
 
 
I only found one review and was dissapointed by it. But Barrie's manager is doing a great job and i think soon enough it will be noticed. 
 
So here's a few updates:
-Barrie is on Vevo
-He did a couple of shows, you can see photos/videos here. There is a gig coming this Saturday (16th) in Glasgow. If you are using Bandsintown track him here.
-He did a session with Tenement TV. Photos. Video soon
-He did an interview for a Russian magazine. You can read it here.
 
Also i wanted to say that it wasn't only Riverside that got leaked. His whole album was leaked. I listened to it before it was taken down. Loved Magic me and Art of Resurrection. but the album wasn't finished, in Angel Tears for example you can hear voices at the end talking about the recording. One thing i notice is a change of lyrics in Angel Tears

COLD COFFEE: She followed me across the river and to the sea, and anyways i feel dumb without you, you hate me, i hate you

April 8th was National Barrie-James O'neill day and hardly anyone noticed, meaning I'm a bit depressed critics aren't paying attention to Cold Coffee (or perhaps choosing not to notice it). Whatever. The album totally slays me. The last track "thunder" is one of the most powerful things I've ever heard in a breakup album. The first movement is very confessional and the second movement is very "I'm moving on".

Since Francesco been out of the picture she seems more outgoing and happier. I'm not sad he's gone. I never liked that man. He always rubbed me the wrong way. Barrie wasn't perfect either and he looked like he needed a few showers but Barrie was a sweetheart. You can tell Barrie was a nice guy. Francesco on the other hand came across domineering, rough, arrogant, controlling and rude. And don't get me started with the way he use to grab Lana's face in public. Thank god he's out of the picture. She's so much happier now.

My thoughts are confirmed. Lana enjoys making fun of people showing off things they don't have right at their face 

Barrie was depressive but I don't think he was lazy. He just has another way of working. He also doesn't believe in selling out and has no interest in being #1 in the charts. Typical hipster but he's nice.
 
I can't believe Francesco dumped Lana but he did. I think she took it hard and it was in a way karma for how rudely she dumped Barrie but I can see Lana being sick and tired of Barrie and his beliefs especially when she had a best selling album at the time.

How is this not a bad thing? Insecurity isn't a great thing as far as I'm aware... 

When i first listened to Lana i was going through a hard break up and her music was like a remedy for me. It was the only interesting thing in my life at the time. I searched and read many interviews of her and i saw the video of the one at Coney Island where she says a quote like: If you write everyday your muse knows where to find you something like that. So i started writing! And Since 2012 i wrote many poems and songs and i feel so good with myself because i turned a bad condition into something beautiful Also Lana introduced me to Barrie's music with whom i can relate very much since i myself have gone through a very dark period in my life. And both of them are my biggest influences (+ Jeff Buckley who i also learned because of Lana).
 
 
 

I don't know if its the right word but I'm happy AMY won best documentary at the Oscars. Its well deserved :clap:
 
And of course Mitch had to hit out again at the director Asif Kapadia.

My mum dragged me to see this documentary and I'm actually glad she did. A lost girl who needed some support whilst many around her either hid their head in the sand or sponged off her celebrity.

Yeah It came out this month I manage to see it today actually.It's really moving,heartbreaking and thought provoking.I really recommend seeing it tbh  

I've heard this is really good and it got amazing reviews... I just need to see it... Has it come out yet? I know the poster says Christmas 2015 but I thought I heard about it coming out so I'm not sure....
