I've had a shitty day today so I played Music To Watch Boys to during lunch break to keep my thoughts away. Then I played Ride on Youtube and I haven't heard the monologue for so long. I didn't look at the video. I just listened. It's so beautiful. Her voice was so soothing and you could hear emotions while she read. Her voice was like a mix of Lizzy Grant and Lana if that makes any sense, I know it probably hasn't changed but it did feel different compared to, say, Burnt Norton.
Anyway. I just listened and interpreted her words into my situation and just felt like things may not go as you hoped for all the time and if I somehow ruin this, there's always a second chance and something else I could do. Imagine just letting things go and start over, somewhere else and be happy. And doing whatever you want to do. Be free.
 
I know it's not realistic, but it did comfort me in a way.

About the interview MM did with Lana back in Jan of 09... I think they knew each other. 
My theory is that maybe he was seeing her on the DL.. because he was with with someone else. Could explain all the "woman on the side" references we get. It makes sense if he got married not long after they split. 
 
I also have this crazy theory that he was seeing her after he got married. Her tweets on her MissDaytona account seem to be directed (or indirected) to someone on there. I could just be over thinking it.
 
Also, about "Afraid" being about MM... doubtful. I think that song is about the 7 year relationship. I don't think Michael Mizrahi because of the teenagers line.. wasn't he like 10 years older than her?

I think Old Money is about the 7 year relationship she had. I don't think it was a full on 7 years, maybe that's why she says

Because he's the love of her life, she'll leave everything behind if he needs her / wants her back. I think West Coast and Shades of Cool are also about him.. any chance that he's cuban? 
 
I cant help but think that maybe k & this guy are the same person.

If they are about K.. then it would make tons of sense since she also talks about jail alot lol. She also talks about Heaven a lot so this is my theory about that. K was doing illegal shit, that got him arrested. Lana was in the middle of it all when it happened, In the past interview I linked "Times were happy but also chaotic." I think he was put on death row.
In my past post, the facebook interview I linked , she mentions something else that caught my eye now. She says "We were travelling between LA and Las Vegas. I can't gamble because Im not good but he was gambling, and I was just swimming"

Since Born to Die, Video Games, & Blue Jeans are a trilogy of some sort I re-watched them in order and I got this idea
 
Video Games is a happy song to me, maybe the beginning of a relationship. In this (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=3224525245356) interview she says: 
"Other than that, I can say I had one relationship that really influenced the album. But the way I describe it is like when we met, we had so much in common.We were living a really similar life. Devoted to art and serving our communities. We had a beautiful relationship. But when he started taking a more dangerous road & kind of veered off the straight & narrow and we could no longer be together.. That really, I just thought it was so sad that like, I dont know. That God had found someone so perfect for me & that we really couldnt be together."
 
Born to Die which to me doesn't mean physical death. But I think maybe from the beginning their relationship was born to die. "Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough, I don't know why" 
 
Then Blue Jeans, which signifies the end of something that took her under (like in the video it was her love interest) which makes sense because obv she came out emotionally scarred from that relationship in a sense. "But then they took you away, stole you out of my life" 
 
I think all of these are about K.

C'mon Barrie, leak everything you worked on together as revenge. 

I'm glad tbh. Barrie is obviously a great guy and loved her before she was famous but I think he was really bringing her down. It must be so difficult to be in a relationship with somebody who seems to be so dark. And lbr he didn't really inspire Lana that much as she continues to sing about other guys. next album could be done sooner than we think .
 
The clues were there, "my boyfriend's in a band". Barrie went solo. Is Jimmy still in Ours?

I hate Brooklyn Baby, the part at the end when she sings with Barrie saves it. Something about it makes me feel weird..

this is the most ridiculous thing and there's a reason nobody else here is on your side.. we all know you don't like tostb for other reasons but that doesn't mean you should twist this around and make it out to be some monstrous thing when it's actually fucking harmless. he's a fan of lana making this for other fans of lana WITHIN THIS COMMUNITY for us to enjoy and it's fucking funny. he's not making her look like shit. he's certainly not bashing her. literally every single person i've ever known in my entire life makes little jokes about their favorite artists (if you really can't understand that somehow then idk what to tell you) but in the end we all fucking love lana with all our hearts and no fanmade comedy album that references her here and there is going to change our love for her OR tostb's love for her. he's making this to share w the fanbase and it's filled with little jokes that we as lana fans would get, and that we as normal people would be able to laugh at. he is in absolutely no way "bashing" her AT ALL and it blows my mind that you really don't have enough common sense to notice the huge difference between playfulness and bashing.
