I really wish I hadn't read y'all impressions about California before I listened to the song because I pressed play expecting a lot and it didn't live up to my expectations. It's a good track but you guys made it sound like it was the second coming of West Coast or sum

I like this about good things carrying bad things, however the tags still being on the clothes means that she presumably bought the dresses for the wedding and never got to use them bc the husband-to-be ran away, not because she stole them. At least that's what I think she tried to say.

I feel like this is a real step forward in the maturity of her lyricism.

Years from now when cellphones fucking fly and hover in front of you to take a picture or whataver people are going to see this cover and think "wow this is some real vintage shit right there" like we do when we see pictures from 40 years ago of our parents sitting by the porch doing nothing
