pretty when you cry might not be the most exciting number live but it's definitely light years ahead of bartender and arcadia, those 2 are crowd killers fr. i think a lot of it is due to lack of more exciting arrangements, maybe if lana rocked them up a little with more drums and guitars it wouldn't sound so dull and quiet live

lana has a history of hating FUN everything that's FUN get cut like allahside live so i thought since the bikes were indeed a lot of fun they would get the chop but since they stay we win!!

oh no i absolutely agree.
 
Everyone was so mad that the crowd wasn't very energetic, but what are they supposed to do while Lana sits in a chair mumbling Bartender  I do think both albums had better songs that she could have performed, and I agree she should have shortened them like she did some earlier songs

i mean there's only so much you can change in just a week…

oh i know, which makes it even more embarrassing since she seems to be an illustrator and 3d artist herself, like she has the knowledge and the means but decided to be a lazy cheapskate instead 

grimes needs to drop the ai tho all the backdrops on coachella were ai generated and it's embarrassing like girl just pay 3d artists if you don't wanna do it yourself 

lana should REALLY consider a live orchestra if she wants to keep doing those many ballads that would upgrade the experience so much like imagine arcadia but with beautiful strings? that could be the highest point of the show! the way the band is currently set right now doesn't allow the slower songs to really shine. you see they work really well with higher energy songs like west coast but when it comes to songs like bartender it all gets really quiet and weird
