yeah, the new mix is much sharper, the guitars and the vocals all cut harder. the vocals in the bridge were def brought up too which is good, in the demo they were buried in the mix. definitely makes the song feel even more punk-y

The mixing is slightly different for Over This! Nothing like the difference between the Clouds demo vs Clouds final but I can definitely hear it.

ok so looks like she’s doing six colors of the rainbow, not seven, so there’s only yellow left. she’d be stupid if it’s not over this...my guess is may 14??

ha! i was right about cowboys! i guess april not march though, prob bc she wanted a bit more space after clouds. we’ll see if my other predictions come true

I know it's about the music definitely, but I actually REALLY appreciate her interviews. her perspective's just so amazing so that would be a bit of a bummer 

here’s my predictions:
 
cowboys will be green, coming in march (st.patrick’s day lol)
 
over this will be yellow, coming in april
 
dog house will come in may, maybe black or indigo?
 

Villain has to be one of her best songs, it's such a serve. Honestly the whole album is great, the title track is probably my least favourite cause I think her vocal mixing sounds terrible - which puts John Hill to shame since he is the big hot shot pop producer while everyone else on the album is more DIY and underground pop. I feel very bad for her though with not just the leak but hacking her soundcloud and posting leaked songs on her streaming pages. It's really gross.

i second that self destruct is IMPECCABLE on headphones. the whole album is mixed incredibly well, with the exception of i’d say cowboys and parts of troubled paradise that are far too overblown and busy
