    i’m not even a stan but that was like borderline perfect album. the way it’s SO lyric heavy and she made it in a short amount of time and filled with beautiful melodies. yeah she’s a legend

    Now I Don’t Hate California kinda a career highlight. i usually don’t get emotional relief from listening to songs but that song iis having the best time of your life in audio form. i’ve been so anxious lately and that song is so angelic and calm. it literally already has like 100+ plays from me

    What is Marina's best music video to y'all?

     

    I know her videography isn't the best but she has some cute and well-done videos on her channel, but it's hard to say what's exactly the best one.

     

    I'd say between Primadonna or Handmade Heaven (even tho it's kinda basic)

    her lights when she did the outro live was insaneeeeee. i wish i got it on camera. it was like some blue and green strobe lights flashing that made it look like she was underwater and she was doing some weird ass dance moves. sexy alien vibes. literally obsessed

    i feel this. i hate that the red is so solid, it makes it feel like the actual cover got cut off right there. and it looks visually weird because she’s leaning on it but it doesn’t look like something you can lean on and the way it cuts above the elbows looks weird. and it looks like they added the blue coloring to “smile” to bring the two halves together but it doesn’t work. i don’t mind the “smile” font and shape because that feels “katy” to me. but the KP font looks cheap and like an add on.

     

    but ....katy herself looks absolutely gorgeous

    i remember my twitter tl being obsessed with her when true romance dropped so i listened to true romance at some time after it’s release and I hated it. there’s a tweet out there from my old twitter account calling it an overproduced mess and stuff FFFFD. then in december one of my favorite twitter accounts put superlove as one of their favorite songs of 2013 and i was like ....alright i need to check her out. and i started listening to her released stuff casually. between december 2013 to when fancy dropped i became a fan. because i remember being gagged in class cause fancy was a whole serve. also i remember You being in the trailer for Vampire Academy and thinking she was like this big star now. and then i was there for everything sucker.

    the way the album has like a 90s alternative vibe i’m literally obsessed. in some songs they have that deep male voice just speaking and reminds me so much of the music then ughhhh obsessed

    but i can’t remember the name of the song. when i think of it it sounds like pre sucker charli. if anybody knows what i’m taking about. thankssss
