The lack of energy during this short rendition of West Coast bothered me ngl But she sounded more confident this week for sure, and she looked stunning. I'll try to forget that Camila Cabello was ever apart of this--call it temporary amnesia.

There is absolutely no need for a surprise appearance other than FJM tonight. That other person is already having all the attention in the world today (and every other day of the year), how much more exposure and attention does that person possibly need?

Happy birthday to this fucking masterpiece. This song altered the course of the music industry, it is revolutionary, it is unrivaled and it is 4 minutes and 17 seconds of euphoria. I honestly can't believe it's been 10 years already. We all know where we were when this dropped. Oh Dan Auerbach the musical genius that you ARE! Happy birthday LEGEND!! 🎉

She also debuted West Coast at... Coachella, and her performance slayed. The lack of Lasso news had very little to do with how the show turned out.

There's something so unprofessional about a festival of this magnitude having mic/sound issues on their main stage, let alone having sound issues at all.

This wasn't catastrophic, the mic/sound issue was the biggest disappointment of the night; however, she gave us many iconic moments and this was the most professional looking her show has ever been. But, her choice of songs is one big pacing/energy issue and I'm over her doing half (sometimes 1/3) versions of songs and only doing slower deep cuts back to back.

I saw Ocean Blvd. live last summer and this background singer did the same thing then, pretty sure this little bit is planned. What I meant was that people were saying that one of them looked pissed during or after Candy Necklace...

Now why are people saying one of the background singers looked pissed? Can someone pinpoint when that was? I have a huntch the energy was off for everyone on stage.

They usually livestream both weekends!

The thing is, this performance was not bad, it gave is MANY iconic moments--I'm still gagging over the intro, like she did that--but the voice/mic issues and the choice of songs, and order, made the whole thing incongruous. I know I won't stay up late next week, but I hope something gets done about at least one of these elements.

If there is one thing that has stayed consistent throughout the years it's the absolute unfiltered and unadulterated hatred her setlists get. I'm kinda living for the consistency here and also the self-inflicted pain we give ourselves—expecting her to do something, well, not tepid.

Aside from the iconic intro and her obviously looking the best she's ever looked, where was this energy?

I don't think that's entirely true, her MITA performance this last year was iconique, I honestly think that had it not been for obvious technical issues, she seemed quite energetic tonight.

I know it's hard pill to swallow for some fans, but for a lot of people, unless you're a hardcore Lana fan, she's just not a very exciting live act--and if you add the lack of upbeat material to the equation, it really doesn't help defeating that perception.

I will start a class action lawsuit for only playing a minute and a half of West Coast.

Lana's biggest issue with these big performance is that she starts big with a cunty/camp entrance, like there is no doubt that this was HER BEST entrance all shows considered, but she really lose momentum halfway through with these slower/more obscure tracks... like The Grants, Ocean Blvd., Hope--they're all obviously hauntingly beautiful tracks--but it creates these down moments. Her shows lack peaks and valleys, they start high and somewhat end on a low note.

Extremly whelmed by this performance tbh. I loved the energy, her fucking LOOK like from head to toe, the entrance/outro, the theatrics, dancers, background singers, but as usual her setlist is a choice (and a repetitive/underwhelming one except for the very few "surprises"). But my biggest issue was her voice/mic--what in sound engineering was going on here? Hoping these issues get fixed for Weekend 2.
