A lot of that photog's IG pics have a very industrial look/feel ... I'm going to guess that this is NFR related for that reason. But it might just be something of Chase's.

I'm avoiding listening to any NFR singles or snippets and have been for a month or two now. Hopefully the album can still sound somewhat fresh on first listen.
 
I love listening to a full, cohesive album, but I'm afraid year-old songs next to new ones will ruin it.

I think hope took 3 years to complete lyrically. She wasn’t working with Jack for 3 years trying to create a melody.

Ok can she just scrap NFR and become a Sublime cover band since this cover of Doin Time......... excellence

I also agree with Pitchfork. It’s a really fun summer bop and adds some depth to the original, but it’s not on the level of the NFR tracks.
 
I would like to see her add some bass to her future tracks again, though. Trip hop Lana is great.

I read no lies in the pitchfork review, though. The song’s fluff. Excellent fluff, but fluff nonetheless.

i'm loving the slight promo but i feel she's still just fucking around, i mean is she not doing this partly cos she has to promote the film?! the film isn't hers so people are probably like "promote the single for our film pls."
