Same, all schools and universities are closed, students had to leave the dorms, everybody (who has the option) works from home now, and there are rumors that from friday we won't be allowed to leave our houses. i wonder how long this will last, i really hope it'll be over by easter

now that evereyone is in quarantine and cha cha matcha is closed she has plenty of time to write and record so i'm getting myself ready for an autumn album

yeah, i agree. there was a group of students from my mom's school who went skiing in northern italy about 150 km from the quarantine and who were supposed to stay in their houses for 2 weeks, but they didn't care, it was just extra vacation for them. they weren't allowed to come to school but they went to the gym, went to coffee shops, met their friends and went to parties, etc, and they weren't even tested for corona virus. and it makes me so mad, even if they don't have symptoms they might carry it and pass it on to someone who isn't in good health. it's so irresponsible from them and their parents.

same... we obviously don't know what was the real reason for cancelling the shows, so i don't want judge her too much but that video made me so angry, at least she could have pretended she was sorry for cancelling last minute, she had to know how much of a let down it was gonna be for her fans (based on the capacity of the venues, we're talking about hundreds of thousands of people), not to mention losing their hard-earned money on non-refundable accomodations and plane tickets. and that bit about making it up for us... that felt like being stabbed.

i hope she does... maybe they haven't had the time to arrange stuff as this was such an unexpected thing to happen? idk, hopefully she will post something that will clarify everything. that doesn't neccessarily mean it won't be rescheduled, refunds are usually offered when a concert date changes as the new date might not work for everybody. but who knows... anyway i'll wait til tomorrow to make the decision to cancel stuff...we might get some more info, and i will hopefully calm down a bit.

i am devastated, we were gonna see her in Berlin, we booked a flight, accomodation, etc... i was so excited. i know i am delusional af for asking, but are there any info about rescheduling the shows or something? or do you think there will be? is that a possibility?

that's what my mum's saying. i don't know, it's really scary though but i have faith in my immune system in the past few days several universities sent out mass emails to students about prevention, and it included stuff like "wash your hands after using public transportation and after going the bathroom" and i was like????? do we seriously have to tell grown adults to do that??? but at the same time i know that unfortunately yes, we do... there are many who don't do it

i think i get what you mean, though i haven't had the opportunity to see her live yet, so i don't want to criticise her too much on her stage presence. but from the videos i've seen i got the impression that she doesn't always move really well on stage, it could be smoother imo, but maybe as her career grows she'll become more relaxed on stage. but the singing... ahhh. she always sounds soo good, she really puts the effort into it (unlike some other singers lately )

exatctly!!! that's what i love about it, and it makes me admire jkr soo much, it's unbelievable how this whole thing fit in her mind. like there are half sentences and little mentions hidden all over the books that don't seem too relevant at that moment but a few books later become really important, (eg. like Snape being a legilimens, she mentions in sc that Harry sometimes have a feeling that Snape can read his mind and in ootp it turns out to be true) and the books are full of stuff like these and i love them, it's like discovering a little hidden gem while re-reading the books.

that's what i thought. after all, he's got a reality show so obviously he likes attention, and probably needs it more than Lana lol
