ppl on album of the year seem to be into it and it’s not all negative here! I think ppl always have a specific vision for what they want from charli and if what she does isn’t that vision it can lead to confusion and disappointment. And that’s not to say any opinion is invalid! I haven’t even listened yet. lol

ngl this is all making me very excited because I’m more of a sensitive girly than a party girly

just to point out tho, when brat proper came out people were on here saying the same thing im not gonna listen till Friday but I remember listening to Brat for the first time and not understanding how ppl thought it sounded like demos when every single production choice was so intentional and thought out

Honestly I think Lana has been so quiet because she is self aware enough to know that the marriage is gonna piss off a lot of people in her fan base, and why would u want that energy surrounding your “big day”. If there wasn’t anything contentious about it I really don’t think it’d be so secretive. Also of course she is fully justified to disclose however much or little about this relationship as she pleases, and she’s clearly not interesting in doing so.

I don’t listen to male artists who aren’t gay so I can’t speak to that but I don’t think anyone is mad she got married, it just maybe makes gay and trans fans like myself a little bummed she is married to someone who shared anti trans sentiments in the past

This feels like the perfect moment to take a step back into a more casual enjoyment of her art. I’ve been a fan since pre born to die, and her music’s impact will always inform the comings and goings of my life. Glad she’s happy, hope she’s not lost the plot, but if she has, no one said a great artist has to be a great person. I don’t fuck w anti trans ppl tho they’re trash and ill say it louder for anyone who tries to give me shit for feeling that way
