  1. Venice Bitch is without a doubt the best thing she has ever put out. I had to come out of hibernation just to say it. Holy fuck it is perfect.

I think Dancing will grow on me. There is SOMETHING there. I can almost feel it. This will be a very divisive era I think. I'm very, very excited for something new but that's also a bit scary. The next single will be very telling.
  3. Had an amazing time. She put on an amazing show as always. Great crowd energy. Although the highlight for me was a shirtless guy dancing seductively over some railings during Lust for Life. And whenever the poor security guard approached him he would just dance twirl around him. And then about eight more security guards ran up the stairs and rushed him out an exit. He was goneeeee. Great views from the balcony.
  4. Can anyone who went tell if they remember what time Lana went on and how long the show lasted? I'm trying to plan out transportation for the show I'm going to... Tickets say 8:00PM but we always know that's usually bullcrap. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
  5. Still need to listen to Lust for Life a thousand more times but as of right now: 1. Ultraviolence 2. Lust for Life 3. Paradise 4. Honeymoon 5. Born to Die Lizzy Grant would probably be between Lust for Life and Paradise.
  6. Lust for Life is definitely an achievement. There isn't one song I don't like and it flows so wonderfully. I wasn't IN LOVE with any singles that were released but in context with the rest of the album it definitely elevates them. Will be my soundtrack for awhile. Let's see if it tops Ultraviolence for me. 13 Beaches Cherry White Mustang Tomorrow Never Came Heroin Get Free Probably my favorites.
  7. It's a nice song. She sounds lovely. After 16 months it's nice to have something new, but I'm not going crazy about it. I've never been a big fan of most of Emile Haynie's productions. He adds little effects that I find really distracting and Love is no different. It's my one big gripe with most songs from Born to Die. Still though... New Lana. I'm happy.
  8. Seriously. As much as I love Honeymoon and enjoy High By the Beach.... this small snippet has stayed with me. It's gorgeous and I need it to be on Honeymoon.
  9. I loved the show. She was great and sounded great, especially during Shades of Cool. The energy of the crowd was electrifying. It really made for a great atmosphere, especially during Off to the Races. I was seated behind three horrible drunk people that at times sang louder than she did (and seriously one of them peed half way through the show.... right where they were standing.... the poor girls in front of him left.... I was in disbelief as was everyone around), but still I was too focused on Lana. I also saw my first every vagina in person in the parking lot. First for everything. I'm torn on whether I enjoyed last years House of Blues experience more or this one. Both had their moments. I wasn't in the pit for either of them but this one looked a lot less intense. House of Blues: - The crowd didn't overpower her vocals. - I was closer to the stage. - I MET HER. Xfinity Center: - The set list. - The atmosphere - I didn't go alone this time. Can't wait until she comes back! Oh and one of my favorite moments was about a half hour after the doors opened a torrential down pour started and there was a stampede of annoying teenage flower crowns, skimpy clothing and ruined makeup. It was very satisfying to watch.
  10. Weather looks to be rainy with a chance of storms. Hope it won't be a Dallas repeat.
  11. Well crap. I really wanted to hear a new song. Ah well. She didn't add Ultraviolence until half way through her last tour. Hopefully soon.
  12. Do Right?! In an hour we will hear snippets of a new song?! Please please please. It's an okay set list. I was expecting a bit more Ultraviolence. She killed with MPG, OM and FMWUTTT last year so it's weird they were omitted. Also they are three of the best. Still the inclusion of Serial Killer and Off to the Races is amazing.
  13. Oh Lana. I know it's just a snippet and we don't exactly know everything. But ugh. Oh Lana.
  14. I really don't blame her for having second thoughts during the interview. It's the same old bullshit. Seriously the EXACT SAME. And I get it's their job but it makes them seem like dicks quoting all that. I'm not sure what Lana's mindset was with Rolling Stone. I would guess apprehensive excitement? They gave Ultraviolence a pretty good review, ask her to be on the cover which is a huge deal... sounds like a good gig..... and then BAM! Hit with the same idiotic questions. "I feel like maybe we should wait until there's something good to talk about."
