  3. She seems to be in such a happy place in the interview its really wonderful to see her that state. I really hope some of that chirpyness has run off on Honeymoon. Also has anybody noticed how she is putting her point across much better to the press/public lately...
  4. If I remember correctly.A year or two before Amy passed away her Dad Mitch (Who she adored massively) released an album and -when interviewed by an reporter- asked whether or not his using his daughters fame to make himself more well known ect and he replied " Yeah I guess so". He even wrote a book about the poor girl not long after she died... In the end her friends and family were using her BC of her fame and wealth. Amy had a lot problems (Clinical Depression,Drug/Alcohol addiction,Anorexia) and those around her choose to ignore it BC it benefited them in the short or long term. It's even reported that her ex-husband Blake introduced her to heroin and got her hooked. Hence why alot of fans including myself see him as a major part of Amy's tragic downfall...

  6. Ellie Goulding - Everything about her is so fake and her nasal singing grates so much.I tried listening to Halycon twice on spotify and It just didn't get the appeal at all.She is highly overrated IMHO... Ed Sheeran - I can rant on and on about him to the point were I can write an essay about how much he is over rated and how terrible he is at playing the guitar ect ect but I will just stop here Ellie Goulding - Everything about her is so fake and her nasal singing grates so much.I tried listening to Halycon twice on spotify and It just didn't get the appeal at all.She is highly overrated IMHO... 7. Everything in the film is apparently highly exclusive/rare or new to the public.
  8. I swear if HBHBHB leaks I'd be highly disappointed/upset so I hope that the rumours are a load of steaming BS...
  9. The first trailer has been released for AMY, the forthcoming documentary film about the late Amy Winehouse... The feature-length documentary from Asif Kapadia, the BAFTA-winning director of Senna, will open in UK cinemas on July 3, distributors Altitude Film announced last month (March). The documentary promises "previously unheard tracks" and "extensive unseen archive footage" and is billed as the story of the six-time Grammy-winner "in her own words". An earlier trailer for the documentary was shown to guests at a pre-Grammys brunch hosted by the singer's former label, Universal Music Group, in Los Angeles in February.Speaking about the film, Universal Music's UK CEO and Chairman David Joseph said: "About two years ago we decided to make a movie about her - her career and her life. It's a very complicated and tender movie. It tackles lots of things about family and media, fame, addiction, but most importantly, it captures the very heart of what she was about, which is an amazing person and a true musical genius."Amy Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning in July 2011 at the age of 27. A posthumous compilation album titled 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' followed later that year. https://youtu.be/A97-pQJD6Hw
  10. Lou Reed/Velvet underground - I've tried so fucking hard to get into them both. You have no idea especially when one of my favs (David Bowie) produced/co-wrote Lou Reed's Transfomer LP Azealia Banks - I don't get the love for her I truly don't. But maybe its BC I don't really like that kinda music in the first place tbh. However I love her personality and she has some brilliant points of views. I'll put a few more down when I have time
  11. Thank you at least I can save up some cash.Really hope she'll preform in UK this year...
  12. Do you think Lana will tour in Europe/Rest Of The World later on this year or just focus on the US all together?
  13. This is so strange yet fascinating so I just had to put this article here... http://dangerousminds.net/comments/man_meticulously_documents_affair_with_his_secretary_1969-1970_here_are_his The story would be dull—clichéd even—without the voyeuristic thrill that comes with the intimate details: a married German businessman and his married secretary, Margret, have a brief affair from 1969 to 1970. Everything you see here came from a suitcase purchased at an estate auction 30 years after the affair, and it’s an utterly engrossing collection of artifacts. Not only did the unnamed businessman photograph the intimate moments before and after sex (including shots of dresses he bought for her—on the hanger, then on her, then on the bed), he kept keepsakes, including a lock of hair and an empty birth control blister-pack. The strangest part though is his “journal,” a series of typed, dated, wholly factual and completely emotionless entries—more of an impassive record of events than a log of romantic musings. Germans! On their own, the photos seem to hint at a tender, maybe even loving time together, but the details reveal a much darker, volatile side of the tryst. At one point, the man’s wife confronts Margret, accusing her of disrupting a happy marriage. Margret is furious, and so the businessman then forces his wife to apologize to her. As delusional as she appears to be, it is this unseen wife who feels the most human, and one wonders if any guilt was felt on the part of the businessman or mistress Margret. The collection is now being curated in its entirety as Gallery Margret: Chronicle of an Affair – May 1969 to December 1970, at the White Columns gallery in New York’s Meatpacking District, through April 18th. There's more infomation here too - http://www.messynessychic.com/2015/03/25/chronicles-of-an-affair-with-his-secretary-found-in-an-abandoned-suitcase/
  14. I don't care how delusional this sounds but I fully believe this is not from the UV session or an outtake from that session either. However It could be an outtake that didn't fit the theme for the Ultraviolet Set that Neil posted a few days ago on tumblr.
  15. I can see your point especially with the mess that is The Other Woman (I hate it with a passion for a number of reasons that I stated ages ago) but considering the rest of her covers like Chelsea Hotel/Summerwine/Blue Velvet are IMHO wonderful... However your entitled to your opinion and it would be pretty boring on LB if everyone liked the same sort of things ...
  16. Did a shoot with the The Guardian inspired by my incredible Mum, in the 70s. https://www.facebook.com/marinaandthediamonds awwwww
  17. Cruel World - 9/10 Ultraviolence - 7/10 Shades Of Cool - 10/10 Brooklyn Baby - 8/10 West Coast - 10/10 Sad Girl - 4/10 Pretty When You Cry - 10/10 Money Power Glory - 9/10 Fucked My Way Up To The Top - 5/10 Old Money - 8/10 The Other Woman - 3/10 Black Beauty - 8/10 Guns And Roses - 5/10 Florida Kilos - 10/10 Flipside - 8/10 Is This Happiness - 9/10 Truly an amazing sophomore record.Somber and far more alternative than her -at times- over produced debut album Born To Die. A definite sign that Lana's sound overall is evolving and becoming far more complicated. Favorite tracks from the LP are Florida Kilos/West Coast/Pretty When You Cry and Shades Of Cool.
  18. I know . Garden Of Youth and Angel Dust especially cracks me up
  19. Someone made a fake cover/back cover and I really like the whole style of it.... Here's were i found it too since I hate credit stealing... http://www.rnbjunk.com/lana-del-rey-honey-moon-copertina-album/
  20. ST JUDE... Chapter 2 of the How Big How Blue How Beautiful odyssey. I hope going by the YouTube description we will get a few more videos before the LP drops. It would be incredible if she made videos for all the tracks on HBHBHB... Also there seems to be an underlining themes between all three videos (Apart from the obvious one being water). The ones that really stick out the most me is grief and spirituality. I love all three videos and I can tell already I going to love HBHBHB album so very much...
  21. I'm going to buy the jewel case version BC I've seen the deluxe edition unboxing on Youtube and its really nothing special . However I am going to buy the white vinyl edition as soon as I can....
