Hun, you have a serious addiction to something that just isn't that good for you. Similar to the drink, the diet mountain dew in your life may not be healthy, but baby, you want it. Keep your wits about you, and you will be just fine!

Honeymoon - Pre-Release and Discussion Thread
Macintosh Manhattan replied to ilovetati's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
"Good things come to those who wait, but I ain't in a patient phase" - literally this is how I feel about Honeymoon tbh I really have low expectations this time round. Now musically UV was a masterpiece but everything was a bloody mess to the numerous mixes of west coast, the UV video, the dropped PWYC video, hardly any UV songs preformed live and all those t.v/radio shows cancelled at the last minute. Then she completely abandoned the UV era all together. The album, west coast and SOC videos where the only few good things to come out this era I really hope this time round she is happier and that she is going to be more adventurous this coming era.I Also hope that Interscope will support her more even though that's unlikely to happen. -
Honeymoon - Pre-Release and Discussion Thread

I wonder if honeymoon will have a soul/blues vide like Back To Black or if Mark and Lana have a new approach/sound for Honeymoon. That's what is interesting to me anyway... Either way IK I will probably like it -
1: When did you first discover Lana Del Rey - When National Anthem Video came out so June/July 2012.The impact the video/song had on me was amazing... 2: What was the first song that made you fall in love with her music - Same as above. I love the dark undertones (especially the bridge) on National Anthem. 3: Favorite Lana hairstyle - Probably her auburn/ginger hair for the BTD photoshoot. It suits her so much... 4: Favorite live performance - At Coachella when Lana debuted West Coast for the first time to the world. Her performance was so strong... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lot5GaRdc7E 5: Favorite lyric - Don't say you need me when/ You're leaving /You leave again/I'm stronger than all my men/Except for you. 6: Would you make out with Lana if you had the chance to? No not really. I admire her but not in that way. 7: Favorite facial feature - Her eyes are beautiful and so emotive too... 8: What's one thing you don't like about Lana? Her half-truths and the fact she hid her privileged upbringing (which is nothing to be ashamed about in the first place). I wish she would fully embrace her past and who she is as a person. 9: Have you ever met Lana? No but I really would like to in the future. 10: Who's you favorite artist after Lana? Oh god that's so hard. Florence + the machine and/or Lady Gaga. They mean so much to me tbh so its a tough choice... 11: Would you say you're obsessed or just a really big fan? A really really big fan 12: What if Lana was secretly an evil zombie would you still love her? More than likely lel...

Florence looking into the distance, photographed in Mexico by Jorge Lopez. I'm starting to think Mexico was a photo shoot rather than a video shoot now (considering Florence is now filming a video in LA). Also I hope that "What Kind of Man" is released soon on schedule.
-
Florence is currently in the process of filming another music video! It has been described as "a short film/music video" similar to Lana Del Rey's "Tropico". Some of the producers loudworldsound and lightrowgroup posted pictures and videos on Instagram aswell if you want to have a look yourself...
-
Some song titles have been added to Florence's database of songs (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers)! They could possibly be from album 3: Caught As Far As I Could Get Hiding I Wanna Be With You Made Of Stone Pure Feeling St Jude Unbeliever EDIT - "What Kind of Man", the new single from Florence + the machines's new album, has been officially confirmed for release. The exact date is still yet to be put out there, but I will keep you lot updated as much as I can. You can assume/pray that it will be released next week though (Hopefully)....

Just In Case no one has seen both seasons yet..

I LOVE THE SERIES. He's version of Hannibal is so understated and classy so when Hannibal goes into full on cannibal mode its really shocking.I never really liked Anthony Hopkins version as I felt at times he was over the top and hammy in some parts. However Silence Of The Lambs/Red Dragon are still brilliant physiological horror movies. Also Hugh Dancy who Plays Will Graham is brilliant to. He's portrayal of Will is heart breaking and intriguing....
-
If you don't mind subtitles there are a few brilliant foreign horror movies . Green Butchers. Its a horror/comedy danish film and its way to funny/morbid in some parts... REC - A brilliant Foreign horror franchise. The first two movies are best.Pure fright-fest.... 28 Days Later. Probably one of the best cult "The Infected" horror movie ever. It's violent, horrific and harsh but the storyline is highly original...

Another behind the scenes photo of Florence in Mexico by Jorge Z Lopez....

James Franco Discusses Lana in V Magazine

You took the words straight out of my mouth... -
Florence behind-the-scenes in Mexico, with Jorge Z. López. I wonder what this could be for... Also A behind-the-scenes video has emerged of Florence with Tom Beard (who shot the album covers of Lungs and Ceremonials) in Mexico's Cinote. She has spent the past few days there with directors Tom Beard, Vincent Haycock and Tabitha Denholm - could it be the album cover photo-shoot? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6UmPWJmCyg

such a hard decision... Hollywood Vs Live Or Die

Lana taught me that it's okay to be sad and that there is a beauty in being melancholic. I've all ways had an old head on young shoulders and I've always been nostalgic for an age I was never born in but thanks in part to Lana aesthetics I have fully embraced that part of me now.Which funnily enough has made me a happier person... She's partly influenced the way I dress aswell. I'm not into the whole vintage queen look as honestly it wouldn't suit me but her grunge look is something I really admire and aspire to look like.I've gained massive self-confidence in doing so to.

Honeymoon - Pre-Release and Discussion Thread

IDK what your getting at but your signature is the funniest thing I've seen for awhile... Getting back on topic.I seriously do not know what is happening to this thread. Its already becoming as bad as the UV pre-release thread. Its becoming an ultra-mess tbh -
Apart from the beautiful bridge in WFL I felt that this was a pretty average tbh. I like the fact that she is starting to become critical towards her lovers which is refreshing (I'm all in for critical/vengeful Lana ). It just feels imo that wait for life sounds like a bonus track form BTD. Its nothing special but neither is it awful.
-
It's okay we're all human and make mistakes at the end of the day lol
-
Somewhere Only We Know was actually written and preformed by a band called Keane but nvm I'd love to see Lana cover it tbh
-
Angels Forever is definitely not her most underrated song in fact its generally one of most popular songs that all fans on LB and elsewhere love to bits. I curious though what makes you think it underrated though tbh. As for the rest of your list I completely agree with you that Hollywood,Never let me go ext are highly underated

You literally read my mind.I'd love it if the whole album had a summery vibe to it (On the beach maybe in Hawaii or the Caribbean relaxing in a cabin taking the view in and looking at boys ). Along the line of what type of flower Lana might use I was thinking of this - tropical hiblscus Loads of bright pastel colors this time too and as I stated before more Photo-shoots like Lana did for clash magazine where you can see that she is clearly naturally happy. -

IKR the whole shoot is beautiful and definitely is how i would like honeymoon to look like visually. I like how she looks so happy, blissful and care free like she is at peace with herself throughot the whole of the Clash photoshoot. I just hope we have a similar sort of photo shoot for Honeymoon... -

I don't know why but when I read or hear Honeymoon i always think of Neil Krug's Photo-shoot for Clash Magazine. Especially this photo -
