i know people want a place to talk about her but what is there to even talk about at this point it’s been 4 years since literally anything and 9 years since an album
 
she barely seems to even want attention and giving a mentally troubled person lots of public attention usually just ends in the person suffering more than they did before 
 
i don’t really care if you quote this saying why the idea is horrible because ultimately this thread is the sole thing keeping her relevant until she either says that she’s not releasing anything and her career ends or until an xcx world situation happens, this is just gonna keep happening and it’s clearly not good for either party
 
locking the thread for at least a couple weeks to a month basically clears the slate and hopefully helps people realize on why continually giving her attention when she’s clearly not wanting it is not a good idea

Addi was recording stuff back in January / December (I don't really remember which month) according to her instagram stories, but yeah she said in that podcast she wanted to be more patient with music and improve before releasing something, tbh at a certain point I thought she was scared of people's hate.

Edit: He also mentioned that he is not 100% sure if the album will be released this year because knowing her, something might happen that fucks up the release.

It’s so weird how she was in the rollout for her debut album on a major label with people going insane for coconuts after the first two false starts with Malibu and then Future starts now..like they finally got her on a roll and decided to completely derail it with slutpop.. The amount of negative attention which was justified but still like did anyone at the label even think that this might not be the move.. also besides that what were they thinking doing a random throw away EP in the midst of her finally getting some buzz for an album.. so strange ? They literally don’t know what they’re doing at all with her.
