quite sad to watch her tarnish her own legacy and squander any goodwill she built with fans with all these messy shows. she should really throw in the towel i think, i doubt she even wants to be on stage at this point and it seems like she's just taking advantage of peoples time and loyalty because she probably needs the money. i do think she has a narcissistic attachment to being this suffering artist, it seems like it's probably easier for her to believe that things are not within her capacity to control rather than accept that she continues to make things worse for herself

I haven't really been keeping up, but a friend of mine went to one of the recent shows a few days ago and said she showed up 2 hours late. And after doing a quick name search on Twitter, she was literally trending yesterday because lots of people are jumping at her and complaining about her performances saying the same thing about her unprofessionalism and all of that.
 
I hoped she would've got her shit together after her 2022-23 performances, but she's messy as usual, not really surprising at all.

Just read about the recent shitshow on Twitter. It's beyond stale watching the few fans she has left continuously try to excuse her unprofessionalism. It's always someone else's fault. Anyone but Sky's.

XCX World being the biggest "loss for the culture" despite her saying it, and everything around it, being painful because the art never got to live the life she intended for it, as well as the interviews and comments where she hinted being really upset by the whole ordeal when it happened...
 
This could be her way of "taking back that power" and saying "It's obvious that people want this shit, and they're hell bent on getting it behind my back and wishes no matter what, so might as well have some control in the process and stop working "the old way" with my material and take a new approach."

obvs i dont think charli HATES her unreleased music, i dont think she'd make music she doesn't enjoy herself.
But i highly doubt she loves leak culture. She probably loves the hardcore fans who understand her journey and progress. We're dedicated AF! She loves US!

Interesting. This whole post says "I love leak culture" because that's what we do - amass tons of content from an artist and make believe on what could have happened with it. I just got done updating and pulling in a bunch of Charli material, and I've got like 670 songs with her name on them in my iTunes. It's a lot.
 
To read her having an opinion that's more or less supportive of that....I'm.....suspicious. I'll put it like that. In an age where "everything leaks" and artists are scrapping whole projects when it happens (Sza, FKA Twigs), or people are otherwise mad on social media about it (Billie, Slayyyter, etc.), regardless if it's album content or non, to suddenly take a thinly veiled stance that supports and aligns with what goes on in leak-land is....interesting.
 
She also did say she was in her lying era. I'm not trusting it until I see the content for sale, on streaming, or uploaded to Soundcloud or some shit. I read the "releasing a lot of my demos...and playing them at my shows" as an exclusive 'and', not an inclusive one - aka "her playing them at shows is her way of releasing them".

Has anyone been able to find Brat production credits anywhere? Ik sometimes they go up pre-release... Out of the yet-to-be-released tracks, all we know so far is that El Guincho worked on "Everything is romantic" (he's heavily involved in the new Camila record too... some of you may get a kick out of that info) & "Talk talk" is an A. G. + HudMo coprod. 
 
At first I didn't think the song as a whole was about anyone in particular, more of a commentary on the experience of being a "woman in music," but ever since The Face wrote about it being about "the fraught relationship she has with an unnamed female artist," I do wonder... A lot of the lyrics point more to it being about Lorde imo... very reminiscent of her 360_brat story mentioning her from last summer discussing them making plans to make music and never actually going through with it, "people say we're alike," etc... The "you should come to my party / and put your hands up" lyrics feels like a reference to Lorde's lyric about how she's "kinda over getting told to put [her] hands up in the air" from Team as well. I suppose it could be interpreted to be about Marina too, the lyrics somehow feel too direct, like she's saying too much, but still vague at the same time. Incredible song, can't wait to hear the final. (Same goes for "I think about it all the time")
