  1. HAPPY FOR YOU!! How much was it? I have a couple of minutes before I can buy mine
  2. The price range for the date I want to go to is $35-98, which isn't too bad I guess. She seems to have lengthened her set these days to ~1hr. Also noticed that there's a VIP option...I wonder what that'll consist of??? really hope she doesn't start doing meet n greets like I'd rather her throw in merch + ticket "VIP" deals rather than that.
  3. Out of all these snippets, I'm mostly excited for the Old Money, Money Power Glory, and Florida Kilos . At first I was kinda bummed that Lana was moving away from the lux sound of BTD, but damn-- the guitar and underground band vibes I'm getting from UV sounds promising.
  4. she sings this so beautifully live. The spoken part is reminiscent of the live version of Carmen when she starts speaking spanish.. ugh it's my favorite! She's back into reinventing many of her old songs into her new sound this era, which is pretty much the only thing that has changed. I'm soOoO happy that she's pulling from LDRAKALG though
  5. yessssssssss! seeing her in Grand Prairie on April 23rd. I'm so glad I decided to skip out on buying the ATL show tickets. It's annoying me that the prices aren't shown for her G.P. show...gonna try calling the venue tomorrow. do u think she'd get mad if I asked to sign a fanmade LDRAKALG cd a friend made for me??

  7. dklfjhgbsdlfjglf!! I may be able to afford flying out to Arizona (ty fed. income tax returns lmao) but considering it's in the middle of the fking week I'd be missing a lot of school +work. :-( Debating if I should try the San Francisco date instead but it's so much more expensive (~ ^$300). these are the moments where I wish I had friends that liked Lana </3 I dk if I should risk waiting for the possibility of more US date announcements :-(((((((((((((
  8. Overall rating: 5/5 First impression: loved how visual she was with the lyrics & how it was very different to the songs out at the time [or at least v diff from the music I was listening to at the time]. Also I was hugely impressed by how grand the production sounded-- always made me wanna drink champagne while I dramatically morned with Lana over the loss of her lover. Impression now: I feel the same about it but I have held off on playing it as much. It's nice when I put my ipod on shuffle in the car and OTTR suddenly starts playing every so often. gem! iTunes plays: idk Songs I play along with it: Afraid, C U L8R Alligator, I Don't Wanna Go, Serial Killer, Last Girl on Earth --- just bc it follows along w the story scene I've made up--- does anyone else ever do that?? My playlists always have to follow along with the storyline that plays in my head. What I dislike about it: it needs a proper music video either with over the top production like she's been doing now or ~a la Lizzy/ homemade with fun clips of LDR [that's one of the main things I craved when watching the original video, imagine how killer that's be?!!]. Memories I associate with this song: Watching her live performance at the Ruby Lounge [on youtube]. The weird deep voice she puts on in the beginning of that performance along with the odd pauses had me cringing but then LDR redeems herself at the bridge of the song. Gotta admit that I did not give her enough credit at first for how hard that song must be to perform live. I still wish she'd give it another try one of these days just to make everybody go wild! Colors/images that come to mind: Red + Green + Orange; Lana reenacting Lolita 1997 scenes , exagerated display of wealth...huge mansion + cars+ect, scenes of FBI spying on the couple, Lana racing through the streets, her lover stealing/commiting murder/ selling drugs while Lana is at home relaxing ~poolside~, Lana snorting cocaine, argument in LDR and her lover's bedroom similiar to the one in the movie Goodfellas, FBI arresting her lover, Lana trying to help her lover escape prison....ect ect Favorite lyrics: "And he shows me, he knows me Every inch of my tar black soul" "Glass room, perfume, cognac, lilac fumes Says it feels like heaven to him" "I'm sorry that I'm misbehaving I'm your little harlot, starlet Queen of Coney Island Raising hell all over town Sorry 'bout it!" LOVE: The slight change with the word "harlot" made me go insane after my very first listen because of how it intensifies the tone of the entire song. Interpretation: Lana is aware of her lover's dangerous occupation of murder+drugs+theft but is distracted by the opulent lifestyle. At first she doesn't mind being his trophy wife since she feels inferior to him early on in the relationship considering her ~Los Vegas past/ LA crass/flat broke down life~ not fitting in with the cookie cutter ways of the rich but she is won over by how he seems so accepting despite of all that. She's in a very submissive relationship only until Lana slowly starts learning how to dominate him sexually and get him to do all these things by simply teasing; Watch me in the swimming pool Bright blue ripples, you sitting sipping on your black Cristal...he likes to watch me in the glassroom bathroom. Overcome by the sense of power, Lana uses her newfound advantage to momentarily distract her lover after she gets heavily involved with the drugs he's been dealing. Since she's new with this whole ordeal, her naive ways cause her to draw FBI attention toward her lover. The lover, being the pro that he is, quickly notices that he's being watched and mentions it to Lana only for her to confess how she's been fuckin around w/ his business.. I'm sorry that I'm misbehaving. The furious lover tries to think of a plan to get them out of this mess but it is much too late and the fault is focused only on him. Racing all over town The following morning after the FBI has arrested her lover, the exclusive neighborhood is congested with reporters inquiring about the arrest + huge drug crackdown. Lana, being the ride-or-die woman that she is, boldly declares in the middle of the loud reporters+ flashing camera lights: I'm gonna stay and pray with him 'till the end But I trust in the decision of the Lord to watch over us Take him when he may, if he may I'm not afraid to say that I'd die without him Lana maintains the appearance of the loyal, innocent wife in the eye of the media while at night she dangerously reaches out to her lover's friends to help her plan a way to sneak him out of prison. The 'friends' deny and threaten her life, leaving Lana to take matters into her own hands. Louis vuitton purse (loaded up with a couple of tightly wrapped 100 dollar bills + diamonds, obv) in one hand, gun in the other-- a fired up Lana races on a mission to rescue her one true love! Flashbacks from love-filled casino nights replay in Lana's head while she contemplates over all that is at risk if she's unsuccessful. This realization only intensifies Lana's determination! Ready, set the gate is down And now we're going in To Las Vegas, chaos Casino Oasis Honey, it is time to spin ~~~~ !!!!
  9. nO not my favorite LDR album </3 this was so hard! I voted: QOTGS [basing this solely on # of plays] Pawn Shop Blues [seriously kept switching back & forth between voting this or voting off For K Part II]
  10. from the looks of it so far- this technicolor dream world ( ) is doing the impersonators JUSTICE! With all of that crazy filter going on, they don't look half as silly as when we 1st saw them in the instagram pics .... this is either gonna be a huge mess or fckn spectacular. i wonder how she's going to incorporate all these different aspects w/o making it look dumb (especially w/ the aliens? wth).
  11. Barrie has such a great voice-- so much so that I can look past the cringe-worthy name of ~Nightmare Boy~ (seriously Barrie?!! ew.) The video matches with the eeriness of the song which are both beautiful. I gotta say that the scene w Lana rubbing her feet on Barrie's face made me uncomfortable, like you'd think it'd be sexy but it just made me tense up the 1st time [ look at 3:07 ]! I'm reminded of vulgar Lizzy with all of the weirdness and even with the way she walks in her short little dress. I'm simultaneously repulsed & drawn to how they feed off each other's creepiness lol I've been humming along all day. What a catchy, dark tune even though I'm guessing half the time at what he's singing. : Edit: As if! He just tweeted lyrics to the song. Now I can properly sing along 'MARY' LYRICS: https://www.facebook.com/nightmareboybjo
  12. i'm glad she "inflated" her lips again. it suits her
  13. my favorites are always changing but at this very moment it's: Strange Love Starry Eyed Hollywood Scarface Black Beauty Your Band Is All The Rage Tired of Singing Blues Catch and Release Golden Grill Heartshaped Chevrolet
  14. yeah those are definitely Vans (+ she's at Coffee Bean, not Starbucks). I don't think these DailyMail "journalists" even try anymore. Oh and those are called Palazzo pants- not pajama pants. ;-) this is how they are supposed to be worn: those 60s-70s styled pants are "in" this season....lemme pretend she kinda tried On another note: didn't she once say that was her lucky hat?... or maybe that was Chuck?
  15. "even though she dropped out" well damn fordham, way to put her on BLAST
