    Not Telling
  1. Unless it has a two minute long outro of her friends kids splashing in a pool
  2. Okay but I cried the first time I heard Get Free..Like am I just a weak bitch or..She always knows where I am in life
  3. The second half of this album is so impressive lyrically. Get Free and Heroin? I can't deal. And yet, I still like the first half better for now. I also don't know if it's the novelty of Lana making a female empowerment song or what but I LOVE GBA
  4. My senses were tingling but I didn't think I'd walk in right at the beginning of a disaster
  5. I can't believe you're all this salty over 2 tracks that happen not to be coma inducing. You still have Love.
  6. Let me put my tin foil hat on a bit Is Summer Bummer Subversive Road? Those horror movie feels are there
  7. The snippets make it sound like it's full of tracks that sound like Religion, HBTB, Freak, and Art Deco.
  8. I agree, though she's made so many morally/ethically ambiguous statements in her own music about gender roles, sex, money, and class that it would be laughable to call hip-hop/R&B out on it. In fact, I would say that those hazy visions of lifestyles, dynamics and timelines that never existed is what draws her to it in the first place. However! For all these people who sit here praising BTD, an album that makes heavy use of hip hop sampling, references, and imagery, to suddenly get their panties in a knot when they're confronted with actual hip hop artists fully embedded in the culture, not filtered through the hand of a white dude named Emilie Haynie? It's not a good look. So I'm not calling Lana out because I do believe Lana to feel some affection for the genre. Her fans who need the blackness of it sanitized are the people I'm side eyeing as of now.
  9. The guitar solo in SOC is one of the most iconic moments on UV. People have bad opinions regarding that album in general
  10. Sis, we just got past the Music to Fall Asleep to era. I like you Arcadia and I'm not coming for you with this comment bc I don't think you feel this way, but the reception about collabs regarding this album continuously becomes more negative based on how "urban" the collabs get. I see y'all
