I will not take any Paradise slander! She's Born To Die's older, more mature, sex-driven sister and we don't hate on her! Ride, American, Cola, Body Electric, Gods & Monsters, and Bel Air are perfection and the EP succeeded in having a theme throughout. The production is cinematic and stellar, and there were   V I S U A L S

this record is already better than LFL and we haven't heard it

Ultraviolence is my favorite but it’s second half has serious issues for me (I never need to hear Money Power Glory and Fucked My Way ever again, and Sad Girl and Pretty are good but the same key with repeated melodic motifs makes it difficult for me to tell the two apart to this day, black beauty should be ON the record proper etc)
 
Honeymoon is good but the most easy example to cite when people complain that she is “bland and slow and boring”, its a mood album for sure and I almost never seek out individual songs from it (music to watch boys to does nothing for me).
 
I don’t really need to provide reasons why LFL isn’t her best, they are brought up every day.
 
I’m here for NFR to be the first flawless (in my eyes) record from her.

Ugh, I’m so excited that we’re finally getting the rollout. I’m still trying hard not to listen to the songs we have, so they’ll all sound fresh as part of one cohesive album experience. Plus it’s going to be a summer album which fits the Laurel Canyon vibes.
 
Please let the album art be cute, though. It may sound silly, but bad album art can damper a listening experience for me - especially with an artist as visually-driven as Lana. Dying for a painting of her driving down a desert highway.

Imagine if she drops the tracklist and there's like, 17-20 songs on there. WHEW I'm one hell of a dreamer.

I’ve been waiting 84 years for a Lykke Li collab.

UV was about drugs and abuse, i personally don't think I'd like to see this kind of lyrics again. When she talked about sad girl shit, I believe it was for everything she has to go through in her daily life as a depressed person, even if she's in a healthier relationship than before. Her thoughts, her feelings too.

I really hope NFR serves us some insanely dark songs,,,, remember when she said the album was on “some sad girl shit” I really hope we get tracks that return to some of the lyricism from UV. Ughhhh scalp me Lana I know you won’t let us down, every song we’ve heard so far has literally been so gorgeous. Wow I actually feel so revitalised after her saying the album is 2 months away. I’m READY
