  1. Yeeessssss! I don't even mind the added production on DMD but it's so repetitive, it needs the demo extended lyrics...
  2. American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy dropped some pretty exciting news - one of Lana‘s songs is going to be featured in the new Freak Show season. One of the show’s fans tweeted at him and said she thinks she is going to be too scared to watch the show this year. “Tina, don’t be afraid!” Ryan tweeted back. “The clown is scary, true. But don’t you wanna see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song?” So guesses anyone? I'd have to say Once Upon a Dream is spooky enough...but that's already a cover and I think this is going to be an original song! 3. One of Lana's dresses is up on Ebay for auction for ANNO'S AFRICA: a UK based charity that offers an alternative, arts education to orphans and vulnerable children in some of Africa’s most desperately deprived city slums. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LANA-DEL-REY-Signed-Worn-Baby-Doll-70s-Vintage-American-Dress-Annos-Africa-/261582928682?pt=UK_Music_Music_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item3ce78ebb2a Bidding is over £1000. Already and it only went up earlier today! I think I recognize the dress from her Montreal concert Source: http://www.westbriton.co.uk/Benedict-Cumberbatch-Elton-John-Tom-Hanks-Matt/story-22870158-detail/story.html
  4. Has anyone been able to isolate the music from the background of the video? I can make out that the guy filming says "I think someone's coming" at the end at the church and he talks to Lana and directs her at the 4 sec mark and again as she starts to walk up the path but it's quite muted and behind the strings of the song.
  5. If we're all in the upload bandwagon I'd love a copy too!
  6. Their golden dozen...rock n roll groupies,,, I new she wasn't singing about the goose that laid the golden eggs but that's what I heard!
  7. Barrie and Lana we're separated for sure by late March/April, when he went to "emotional rehab" and had to leave their house in LA. So I imagine that all the songs were finished and mastered for Ultraviolence already. I don't think the story of Ultraviolence is about Barrie but if she was going through a break up at the same time while re-hashing an older break up, there's certainly the time to reflect and notice some overlaps. Why devote and entire album to the story of a single man when maybe it's more the story of her relationships with men?
