  1. It's a phrase used on this side of the Atlantic, meaning a dumb person; https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/muppet
  2. When those two dancers dressed all in white came on to the stage at the start I was going "WTF?", I thought I had come to the wrong concert and Taylor Swift was playing instead. That's the kind of bull we'd expect from her. I thought Lana saw herself as geared to a more adult audience but she seems to be pandering to the teeny-boppers. She said at the start of one song "Shall we get our girlies out? I said to myself "Fuck no, please". She should have more musicians as well, it's not like there wasn't room for them, the stage was massive. Some people have said she played for longer on the US dates of this tour. If that is true then that's not good enough. The choice of songs was disappointing. Not enough from the more recent albums.
  3. I was not referring to you specifically. I am sure you are not a muppet. I meant some of her fans act in an immature manner and are a bit childish. Maybe I am getting too old.
  4. I was at the gig and yes I agree with those who have said her set was too short. She came onstage at 9ish and finished at about 10.20 but I would say a good ten minutes of that was taken up mingling with the front row (I know she does that at all of her gigs) so it was really only just over an hour she played for. It's OK to do that if you have only one or two albums released but Lana now has the back catalogue to play a longer set so she should stretch it out a bit. Concert tickets are expensive and fans are entitled to get value for money. I am going to see Eddie Vedder in a couple of weeks time and he will play for three hours (did last time anyway). Lana's memory seems hazy too; she said she cried the last time she played in Dublin; it was actually in 2013 that happened (clip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdiGekiibQ0). She last played Dublin in 2016 (well it was County Laois actually). Plus points; she played Doin' Time for the first time, it's a terrific song that I have been listening to a lot over the last few weeks. Also; she looked hawt Don't get me wrong I still respect Lana and think she is the No. 1 female artist in the word at present. Btw yes there are a lot of muppets who are fans of Lana. The crowd around me proved that again last night. Glad I was able to walk home afterwards and not have to share a bus with them.
