  1. Did you follow his Twitter leading up to Tropico? Idk he really, really, really enjoyed all of the attention from Lana's fans and can't bear to ignore a single negative comment. He just thinks he's hot shit.
  2. fuck shaun, biggest lana-related attention whore
  3. Police say a post-mortem on Peaches Geldof has proved inconclusive, and toxicology tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine cause of death. The 25-year-old daughter of musician and campaigner Bob Geldof was found dead at her home in Kent on Monday. Police said at the time that her death was being treated as "non-suspicious but unexplained and sudden". The toxicology tests could take "several weeks" to come through, police said on Wednesday. "Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death in order to compile a report for the coroner," they added in a statement. Kent County Council has said it will make "a decision on whether there needs to be an inquest" based on the final results of the post-mortem. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-26957892
  4. Yeah, Fearne is a friend of hers, it doesn't mean it's been sent to radio. Juliette Lewis heard some of the new music as well.
  5. Peaches Geldof, second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, has died aged 25, leaving a husband and two sons. "We are beyond pain," said her father, confirming her death. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us." Police, who were called to an address in Kent around lunchtime on Monday, say the death is currently being treated as "unexplained and sudden". Geldof was 11 when her own mother died. TV presenter Yates died of an accidental drug overdose in September 2000. In September 2012 Geldof said she did not come to terms with her mother's death for several years. Bob Geldof said: "How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? "We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is." In a statement, Kent Police said: "Police were called at 13:35 BST on 7 April, 2014 to an address near Wrotham following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. "A woman aged 25 was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service. "Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death." Bob Geldof's statement Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing "was" destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof. so many people dying lately ;_;
  6. How does that mean it's not a song? It was registered as a song, maybe she named it after him.
  7. should've taken some pictures
  8. Not everyone needs to be emotionally attracted to someone to be sexually attracted to them. Well, he's a model so his looks must appeal to a lot of people. I think he has a very nice facial bone structure and he's very tall and thin. His tattoos are probably one of his main appeals. I didn't know he did drugs, I thought he had a straight edge tattoo lol.
  9. I just found this and really like it, better than her thoughts on feminism in the Electronic Beats interview: She discussed how her romance has led many to label her an anti-feminist: “I get it. It looks like I’ve chosen a path of submission," she explained. "But I’m a modern day woman in so many senses. I pay my way and work hard for things but it is my choice that at the end of the day I have a dominant male in my life that is hands-on. Someone who wants what he wants the way I do. I get so tired of trying to have it only my way, it’s nice to have someone else who also has their life and opinions. I have to be so assertive in life that it's nice to feel escape through a really passionate romance.” http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/entertainment/news/lana-del-rey-praises-winehouse-29262761.html
  10. Do you really think they were told Lana was going to perform Ultraviolence at their shows though? Don't you think it's much more likely they know she's going to release a new album called Ultraviolence someday and are just using that hype to promote their show?
  11. But why would she release an album during a tour that isn't even an "Ultraviolence" tour? Nobody does that, she won't get to promote it decently. I think the tour this year is just another Born to Die/Paradise tour for America and some festivals because she's popular right now.
  12. You'll probably get a better show if you're seated. I was in the middle of the front row but I could barely hear her because everyone around me was singing so loudly, you won't have that problem when you're seated. You also won't be squashed for like 2 hours straight.
  13. Rob has been hinting and teasing constantly since getting on Twitter, it doesn't mean anything, he's just excited and wants the fans to be, as well. Also, the tour isn't being promoted as having anything to do with Ultraviolence which is weird and makes me think the album won't be released until later in the year (after the tour). In my opinion, it would make sense to expect her to premiere a new song during the tour like she did with Body Electric, start promoting the album after the tour ends, release the album and start a tour supporting Ultraviolence next year.

  15. I can't find the interview right now (but it was on Lana Del Rey Brasil's Facebook page) but she did say in an interview that she just likes when things are easy and when people are nice to her and she doesn't care why they're nice to her. That sounds really shallow and really sad.
  16. I think something like what you said was said before but you can't really take a word that was invented for one book and has a very specific meaning and is only used in that context, twist it to make it romantic and use it for your album. In the book it's used to refer to extreme violence and nothing more than that, it's not some deep concept, it's just one word, part of the dialect Anthony Burgess invented.
  17. o god does bradley mean this is another song about a bad boy ex boyfriend? another song about jimmy? i dnt want more bradley for the next 2 or so years
  18. Yeah, you can really judge the way a person looks from a few lo-res candids of someone running around in the water. I guess this is the music video for West Coast, I wonder which director she's working with (hopefully not Anthony Mandler).
  19. ultraviolence as a title is already kinda juvenile imo, i don't want an a clockwork orange tribute album
  20. I don't think artists send the venues their set lists months in advance, they're just trying to promote the festival. If she doesn't perform the album, Lana fans should ask for their money back tbh, false advertising.
  21. I don't think we really openly share this stuff because it's very personal and it's already bad enough everyone knows her Facebook account, sorry.
  22. Some future jazz songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDMQy1h_OI4 Doesn't sound like something Lana would do and also doesn't sound like her and Dan's descriptions.
  23. I feel like maybe she just "came up" with it like she did with hollywood sadcore and surf noir and hawaiian glam metal. Idk, this doesn't sound like Lana at all. She doesn't even play any instruments. Like, it'd be interesting but Lana Del Rey and indie rocker Dan Auerbach making jazz? Nope.... Nu jazz is an umbrella term coined in the late 1990s to refer to music that blends jazz elements with other musical styles, such asfunk, soul, electronic dance music, and free improvisation.[1] Also written nü-jazz or NuJazz, it is sometimes called electronic jazz, electro-jazz, electric jazz, e-jazz, jazztronica, jazz house, phusion, neo-jazz, future jazz or jazz-hop and electro-lounge. According to critic Tony Brewer, “Nu Jazz is to (traditional) Jazz what punk or grunge was to Rock, of course. [...] The songs are the focus, not the individual prowess of the musicians. Nu Jazz instrumentation ranges from the traditional to the experimental, the melodies are fresh, and the rhythms new and alive. It makes Jazz fun again.” Also, I'm not expecting a surprise release at all, she's just teasing like she did with all of her other releases. Btw, visual album is not an actual thing, Beyonce or her marketing team made that word up. Releasing a music video for every track isn't that uncommon (neither are surprise releases).
