i almost feel in a way its a way to apologize for having to wait roughly 2 months for the album by finding ways to get it to the fans early.  maybe her label forced her into a june release when she wanted it sooner?  idk im trying to give her the benefit of the doubt she seems to have good intentions

I'm like... If it was the tour only, she could skip like Downtown\Lifted\True Love is Violent and pretend these will be unheard but... she's literally giving copies away before the release...
Idk if it was because of the production of the physical copies\vinyls or what but... that's just so random lmao.
 
She should put the whole thing up for stream after tonight and leave the official release for the physical copies...idk...

vintage is ... a rework of sorry?  im fine with it tbrh altho i wish she had kept the opening from sorry!  the lyrics and style sound great tho - i wonder if downtown and lifted are reworks of other leaked tracks.  i saw people mentioning troye sivan but is he like writing or featuring in some regard?  (im not through the whole song so forgive me if im stupid)

BTW I think all of the songs sound more "fresh" and not so "overproduced" like the original OHDB\ATR...They sound way more simple (Need You is the best example I guess)... Simon Says is the most "complex" one. Even Vintage if u compare it with Sorry.. it sound... clear

The new OHDH sounds like a demo and the "demo" (I'm not even sure if it's considered a demo) from CLXU sounds more like a final. Love them both though. Does anyone feel this also?

VINTAGE ENDED SORRY

Track by track review:
 
1. Old Habits Die Hard (New Version) - Allie said she wanted a more punchy presence in this track and I must say, she did it. SHE DID THAT. I love the new version! I'll surely miss the sample in the beginning of the original song though. 
 
2. Need You (feat. Valley Girl) - I actually loved this song since the hotline snippet. Fight me for this but I really love this song. I love the atmosphere of the song, it feels like you're driving late night while missing someone. Anyhow, it's one of my favorites.
 
3. Vintage - Truly a summer bop. I felt that it was supposed to be written for someone else actually haha. The song is very sweet to hear and I like it.
 
4. Simon Says - The song is BITCH 2.0. I heard the toms from Bitch, it gave me nostalgia of listening Bitch again. Anyway, it makes me want to break shit. The song is excellent. Also, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SYNTHS IN THE OUTRO.
 
OVERALL: So far, the songs are excellent. Allie just took a step higher than her previous work. She becoming that alternative princess that will dominate the alternative charts.

Oh lmaooo I didn't even look at the tracklist I'm so dumb

I don't agtee with Froot being a TFJ 2.0.It had a much cleaner, more polished and pop-isher sound than EH did, even though Marina tried hard to appeal to the indie-tumblr-blogs again.
 
I also doubt we'll get another EH, since even though the tracks had those big electro-dance-pop influences, they were actually much more than just this with that slightly dark and bitter vibe and the concept and everything.
 
I hope she delivers the album Froot (the track) was promising us. A fun, dance-y, colorful and slightly weird sound
