  1. BtD was for radio, Paradise was for the gods and the nine, and UV was for critics.
  2. 1. are you doing OK (like in general I honestly do want to know if she's fine with life, as much as she can be) 2. ever plan to write an autobiography 3. who's left the biggest impression out of your relationships but then again three questions are not nearly enough, i'd like at least 24 hours to pick her mind
  3. On Our Way bc it's possibly going to be my fave lana song for forever. though every man gets his wish or go go dancer would be fun to see.
  4. Probably redundant at this point, but i really fail to see the point in Guns & Roses. Like. Even for a filler it's just, why.
  5. It's hard to compare the two. I enjoy the lolita trailer park darling~ edge of hers that was much more apparent in BtD, I'm ngl, I love Off to the Races and unreleased ones such as Go Go Dancer, I love her entire take on the trailer trash queen, cause she *owns* it so well, like boarding school and also her highschooler magic like 'this is what makes us girls', but UV is so much more mature, and it is a lot more cohesive as an album. Honestly, choosing between the two is hard, if I had to go with one, I'd go with Paradise, cause it feels like a good mix of the two for me, but while I think UV is lyrically stronger, BtD had the *it* value. It's really hard choosing between the two, if I'm feeling melodramatic, I'll go to UV for sure, but if I want to get down, I'd listen to Off to the Races. (they're both really good albums )
  6. Literally this, the review is downright insulting on a personal level, but the album gets a 4/5 ? I wonder what they write when they give a rating below 3.
  7. Jfc this is one of the most depressing interviews I've ever read regarding anyone, most depressing of hers for sure. I don't agree with the 'why is she still putting music out there if she feels this way' perspective; she's a creative person, I mean she's not even 30 yet and we have like five albums worth of songs from her, she obviously likes creating. I think it's the whole... sort of MTV~ side of it that overwhelms her, she's putting something personal out there to share with fans, I can see why she would be baffled when a critic at guardian who's never met her says 'this album is trash', it's not easy as it sounds to tune the public out. I honestly do think she enjoys the connections she has with the fans, and the whole coming down to the front row isn't a PR schtick, you can *tell* she gets emotional when she's met with such amazing praise and love from the fans. Having said that, this interview puts UV into a new perspective for me, it's always one thing knowing she's had *some* life, but having it so blatantly shoved into your face is another thing. I just hope that it's one of the phases in her life where she feels that sort of way, and not her entire thoughts regarding her career. Cause I also remember her saying how she was going to take a break and she wasn't feeling it anymore after Tropico, and like not a month after that or st, we got news for UV. So yeah, hope she's just going through the motions, and most certainly not always wishing that she was dead already, jesus Lana.
  8. does anyone else hear "we could go back to who we are" instead of new york ? (does she really say newyawk ?) the "we can go back to the start" makes sense even though i hear a 'ark' sound as well, cause yeah the next line is "where they don't know who we are"
  9. Her Turkey date got postponed but IDC, as long as it's not cancelled... Sigh I need to see her live, hopefully I'll record all of it from the front row. Can't wait till september.
  10. oh thanks, the booklet is just terrible with lyrics.
  11. Does anyone else hear something different than "can you break this heart of mine" ?
  12. I usually always prefer darker hair over lighter, and she looks so stunning no matter what, but this is so iconic to me
  13. Yayo tbh. Even though the version is growing on me, I still prefer the old one so much more. I'm such a hypocrite though, I keep saying how I want her to somewhat focus on her unreleased stuff, and when she does I start saying "OMG SO OVERPRODUCED WOW NO" (ik yayo is not unreleased, but you know, not from her ~Lana Del Rey~ days)
  14. Born to Die: National Anthem AKA: Yayo Sirens: For K Unreleased: Go Go Dancer Demos: Diet Mtn Dew Collabs: Spender
  15. Lol remember when I said I wasn't "feeling the album too much" it's the best thing ever I had the hardest time picking it I guess it's a toss between Cola, Gods and Monsters and Bel Air.
  16. Are we going on snippet mixes or did everyone listen to it already ? Going from snippets so far I love Cola, Bel Air (I told you it would grow on me) and probably Body Electric.
  17. I know she's in a happy relationship rn, and I'm glad that she is (even though I've said some stuff in another thread) but her past life is so intriguing, I just wish that she'd stop covering it up and embrace it, cause I'm honestly loving it so much, I'd be willing to know all about it. But then I guess, what's the fun of being a Lana fan right. We have to be creepy and dig up all the bits and pieces.
  18. It is one of her best songs, I won't even argue with that but, ~the best~ ? ehh idk.
  19. I just wish people would stop posting the snipped mixes as the real tracks and get me all excited for it (unpopular or not i'm really excited for this album)
  20. Ehh, for some reason I don't buy it. Maybe it's me being insane, but I just can't wrap it around my head that she's all calmed down and settled with him. He's her boyfriend yeah, but getting engaged, settling down, giving it up all together ? I'm not so sure. I just see it more of a phase, much like any other in her life.
  21. "Reycists" makes me laugh so much, but no really i pray to rosary that we don't get a name as a fanbase.
  22. I feel to cliche for saying "yayo" but it was one of the first songs that i listened to, and i fell in love with it so much. idk i feel like it's special.
  23. it was my birthday a couple days ago, and we went to this stupid bar for some reason, and we all got wasted (shocker) and i convinced the DJ to play Lana, even though he kept telling me "it wouldn't fit with the mood", but he did it anyway, and everyone was so happy omg it was so nice.
  24. Family Guy seasons 3-5 will always be my favorite, there are just episodes or scenes that make me laugh in the last couple seasons, but I owe it to the show to not miss a single episode, I used to live for it. American Dad really grew a lot on me, and I think unlike Family Guy, didn't lose much quality in the late seasons (although it's got less, so..) I tried watching Cleveland Show so many times, but nope, can't do it.
  25. Gangster Bitch

    Cola

oh my god if she really says "hubby" i'll have zero means left to defend this song i hear "now he's" too, i really hope it is.
