What I love about it is that its production is super harsh and heavy but her vocals are angelic, which makes the track overall feel dreamy and more grounded at the same time, if that makes sense!

I wonder if it’ll sound like some of the Honeymoon demos, so far that video and the overall feel of her Instagram pictures and selfies feel like an upbeat guitar-driven Honeymoon.

Serene Queen is amazing and I think that its almost angsty production would fit COCC theme as I imagine it to be... It has that nerve that NFR misses, imo

i think the album will have a more contemporary mainstream sound to it while still staying true to lana's signature style with a few ballads .. what lfl could've been

i would LOVE a folk lana album, and would love even more a country one. but she's not coming through with that anytime soon, lol. if the tjf snippet and question for the culture debacle are any evidence of the whole material, she's probably back to the hip-hop and r&b infused lfl-style pop

Not to be a hater or something, but BRTHS's style seems to be a bit chaotic to the point where it distracts me from the music at times. However, I do like that Lana's going a different route, and I hope that this video actually turns out good. 

biiitch, the "when I'm with" part is from cherry but it's a low quality... and this bitch is singing "you" .. she's trying to TRICK us guyss.. but I know that app.. I record my singing there.. 
 

Might as well go in the unpopular opinions thread, but since we're on the topics of vocal style: I wouldn't mind if Lana would go back to breathier/sharper and more reverberate and layered type of vocals in the style of 'West Coast' on COCC. But then again, that's the psycheledic-rock stan in me that wish or COCC to emulate that.

She finished NFR late 2018.

Based on BRTHR’s directing credits, Lana’s friend @/alequereid saying the title track  is fire with emojis, and the Tulsa Jesus Freak snippet, I think this album may lyrically have more “country” references (to be fair, I would say Lana’s vocal style and lyricism was borderline-country on Cruel World, which I love) but sonically may sound like Gods & Monsters and Serene Queen with a lot of electric guitar and some more contemporary beats. 
 
I was thinking the other day that if Serene Queen was officially released, a video with BRTHR’s signature style really would’ve suited it! I’m thinking we’ll get a fiery sound with heavier beats, something a little Jimi-Hendrix inspired? Just because I can see Lana doing full glam-guitars this time around. And lots of mellotron!

I feel like let me love you like a woman will be the aftermath of hope is a dangerous thing, where NFR ended, now it’s time to transition into another era but the first song will continue the narrative of analyzing herself in the  ether of the state she’s in 

listen to right when she starts singing, right after she says "jesus", that beat is very "rat-tat-tat-tat" trap. Like the beats on Thank U, Next by ariana.
However the trap beat stops when she says "you should come up to our place"
