I don’t remember when I first listened to a Melanie song, it was probably in 2015. loved the crybaby era, I even have a Giant carousel tattoo in my back inspired by her song. I just saw her perform last weekend at Lollapalooza BR, kinda sad she didn’t sing carousel, cake, pacify her (love these). But she did sing some new songs and I cannot wait to hear Evil, I’m pretty sure is going to be my favorite, right now it’s hard for other song to beat it for me. Anyway about the aesthetics she choose for this era, it’s weird, VERY weird when you first see it but I guess I am getting used to it, grasping the concept a little everyday. She is an alternative artist after all, she’s artisting. Just Let her fuckin’ do what she’s fuckin’ doing and let’s hope for the best. Love her ❤️

I cannot believe how much we won. I was just scrolling through Instagram yesterday when I saw this announcement and my heart stopped for a second. And by the looks of it I think she might do more than one show here. We don’t have exact dates, places, anything but I’ll take any chance I get to see her singing live, bye bye savings

I think she will probably do it around mid 2023 or 2024. Seeing her singing live is magical and I wish every fan could experience it. It’s been so long, maybe she misses it. I’m sure she makes good money with sales and streamings but concerts also bring a lot of money.

This album is amazing, I didn’t think I would get so emotional listening to it since we already knew most songs, but by the time I was listening to beautiful I was sobbing. She’s amazing, Everything is very her, nothing sounds off. Truly a zero skips album. I hope someday I can become half the artist she is.

A little late to the party, but I have to say how much I loved these songs. I cannot choose between Text book and WW, and I admire her so much for releasing songs with lyrics that are so personal and so sad. Even though it’s cathartic to write about a difficult time in your life, it also takes a lot of courage and even more courage to sing it and release it to the world. It hits like a punch in the face and that’s my favorite type of art. Love how the instrumental seems “deeper”, “fuller” than her latest releases, I’m here for it! the queen has done it again

I really liked the video, not sure what’s the concept but I love the parts where she is singing in the car, It seems so intimate which fits the song perfectly. I wouldn’t mind if that take was the whole video.

Me too! I’m not used to listening to audiobooks, but her poems sound so heavenly. I don’t know if we’ll be getting an audiobook for Iron Gates but I really hope so.
