  1. gatadelrey liked a post in a topic by Elle in Grammy Awards 2024 - Lana Del Rey Nominated for 5 Awards
"Lana Del Rey was hiding, but I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren't for the work that she's done. I think she's a legacy artist, a legend, and in her prime right now." - Taylor Swift

Honestly, even though I'm super gutted that Lana didn't end up taking home any awards, I'm very happy to see that Taylor very publicly gave Lana the flowers she deserved. It's undeniable the impact Lana's had on the music industry, and it was amazing that Taylor recognised that. That was a moment that could've been just for Taylor, especially since it was a milestone being the only artist to ever win AOTY 4 times, but she chose to share it with Lana and even dragged her up on stage to share the spotlight with her (even though it looked like Lana really didn't want to go up slkfjsk)

This has to be her year  long overdue.

Why do people care sooo much about her personal life like that? Like constantly fact checking and peer reviewing everything she's ever said and done... who gives a fuck if things aren't adding up.

Idk if it’s worth noting or not but when I was looking things up, I found a lot of family members and there are another Charlie and Caroline that obviously Lana’s siblings are named after. I don’t think I ever found anyone with the first name Elizabeth, but from the lineage here we can see where Woolridge came from. Rob’s middle name is England, which is a family name. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lana names her future children something related to her family’s lineage.

It’s her great grandmother. Father’s mother’s mother I believe. I think I read she died in 1967 or something so lana never met her.

@drugmunny (I meant to quote you also in my comment)
Same It's like the show never even happened. I was hoping she would have posted about singing Florida Kilos since that is such a rare song to get the live treatment. But, yeah... crickets

I don’t understand why people aren’t nice enough to hold someones spot in line. Going to the bathroom would only take a few minutes, maybe more if there’s a line. I understand that once you’re in the pit it’s different but this shouldn’t be a problem at the gates

I'm finally on my way to the festival now lol I don't know what I'll do first when I get there but I'm so glad I got the VIP seats so I can walk around and explore while I'm waiting for Lana to start

I think I saw on their Instagram that they have a Conair hair styling station so I might check that out

I’m still depressed about this. I love Violet sm and really wanted another poetry book! I hope that over time she can rewrite it or somehow get back everything she lost. I imagine she put so much work into this and it suck’s so bad that someone stole it.

I wouldn't say that these were life changing but definitely had some kind of impact on me, at least when I was younger:

Movies: The Sound Of Music, Bridget Jones' Diary, The Devil Wears Prada

Series: Breaking Bad, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist (especially this one, this drove me insane, totally obsessive lol)

Some of my favorites are Lady Bird, a star is born (1954 version), call me by your name, almost famous, mermaids, silver linings playbook. And my comfort movie is Bridesmaids- that one didn’t change my life, but it always makes me laugh and it’s one of my favorites.
