What I really loved about this (and in general about her) that she gave everyone their space and time to shine. Blake solos, the backup singers with their high notes, Jon improv, Billie taking and so on, she’s such a beautiful and caring soul and nothing will make me unstan her after today ❤️ she could’ve made this all about herself but she always make sure to include everyone 

Just finished watching her set and omg i love her she truly did that, her set was amazing i'm so proud of her 

im going to be honest, this is probably the most beautiful she has ever been, nothing will make me unstan this goddess…

it went from delightful americana to haunted 4th of July parade/The Shining to an 80's Guess supermodel/astronaut's wife/Marilyn being saluted by a line of hell's angels as she floated away into darkness 

All of this whining just for us to be seated next week for the second performance 

so just an hour before she was gonna go live, i fell asleep  i woke up now and just finished watching her coachella performance and it was pretty good! that jealous girl intro was INSANE and VERY unpopular opinion: i didn’t have a problem with her performing the same songs. yeah, it was a little disappointing but i’m a sucker for ballads. i find it so crazy that we’re one of the few fandoms out there that seethes when piano is played. i feel like if a majority of lana’s ballads were made by rick or mike dean then that would be a different story but oh well (yet all piano sounds the same)  the sound issues were annoying, but it seemed to be an issue on coachella’s part which is frustrating so i understand why lana might’ve seemed mad in her set. hopefully next weekend we’ll hear some more songs.. love and lfl  im also disappointed we didnt get any lasso news but i feel it would be better for her to do that next weekend. anyways history was made!

I WANT TO CRY BECAUSE THIS WAS EXACTLY LIKE WHAT I HOPED FOR  SHE LOOKED DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, THOSE BEAUTIFUL VISUALS AND I FUCKING LOVE THE FACT THAT SHE SANG BILLIE'S FIRST SONG WITH HER AND BILLIE SANG LANA'S FIRST SONG WITH HER. I'M DYING THIS IS A PERFECT FULL CIRCLE MOMENT

She gave us so many iconic moments: the motorbike jealous girl entrance, without you as opener (my favourite), bringing out Jon, two Billie duets, stripper pole moment, hologram Lana, and the unhinged ragtime finish, not to mention stunning stage, hair and costuming… we won at least a little?

I really liked the show. She looked beautiful, sounded good most of the time (although we do feel she was nervous some times or maybe she got thrown off by her mic having problems). The visuals were nice, loved the Billie moment, the entrance. 
 
i guess our expectations were, again, way too high, which feels like it’s a  bit of a letdown. 
 
with Lana and her team, we always have to tell ourselves that any phrase could mean two things: « Epic » means great stage, « She’ll perform new songs » could mean songs she never sung before and not necessarily the never-heard-before lead single to a new album, « many guest » mean two or three (including Jack), and songs heard at soundcheck (especially unreleased ones) never end up having their official moment on stage 

I mean the snl spins hologrammed onto a gravestone is exactly that 

despite all of the sound and setlist issues that was a motherfucking gag idc, I'm literally floored right now. she looked so 2011/2012 that it was just kind of a surreal feeling to see it. like she had entered a time machine and transported herself to 2024 straight from that time, so I caught myself getting a bit emotional multiple times because I really got to be her fan for that long and it made me realize how time really does fly.
the entrance and the exit were fucking iconic and for the books. I will never recover from them  and ofc the glam team, styling team, stage design team, the pole dancers, the backup dancers, the background singers, the band... every one of them did their parts so well

I’m just making this up tbh but I lowkey feel like Lana also feeds from the energy she gets from the crowd and from the livestream I saw half the crowd weren’t even singing - again tho this is just what I saw and isn’t reality I know but I think this could have thrown her off too

I love that she doesn’t give a f if it’s coachella or some other thing. She just does what she wants and how she feels and I loved the whole vibe. She gave zero gimmicks that americans are so used to and just made the show look more beautiful than it ever was. But she will never try to please people or fans anymore and I love that about her.
Who the hell cares if random people doesn’t know hope is a dangerous thing? Yall really try to make her some pretentious fame digging whore when the whole show was dedicated to lana just being her true self.

First time she's performed Without You since 2014. That's insane

Before I can even share my thoughts, I still need to recover from the Hope is a Dangerous Thing performance. That had me bawling. I'm sure a lot of you know how much that song means to me. She portrayed it perfectly.. because sometimes when you truly are hopeless, you feel like a shell of yourself... a ghost... a withering whisper in the wind... just like a hologram. Perfect.
Quick thoughts on the rest - she looked absolutely radiant. Hair, makeup, outfit, everything perfect. Once she got the opening nerves out of her, her vocals were beautiful too. Lots of emotion on Arcadia. The pole dance during Candy Necklace was iconic. The two songs with Billie were just so incredible I don't quite have words for that either except that I would absolutely kill to be in Billie's position where my favourite artist is not only singing my song, but is letting me sing her signature song with her. What an honour.
Anyway. Need to pull it together a little bit more because Hope has destroyed me and I will be unreachable for the rest of the weekend as I have an existential crisis xx

Okay, that was fucking weird but also... fucking I C O N I C? 
They really did her dirty with the mic, and the setlist was a bit messy but she looked freaking beautiful and the Hope performance? MIND BLOWING, JAW DROPPING, IT WAS EVERYTHING!  
 
Candy Necklace was also definitely one of the best segments of the song, along with Ocean Eyes / Video Games  
 
I'm speechless, wow. She did that!
