I get wanting her to do bigger songs like Love or Summertime Sadness but this would just be corny.

I’m just so confused by what the insider said. First they said the song is like Yosemite and it’s stripped back. Then they said “I can’t believe she’s doing this” and it’s nothing like what we’re expecting it to be.

I noticed this a while back. I figured it would be for a mag cover but we never got one. Anyways her shooting the cover would be such a serve and she liked the blue bannisters announcement so... who knows.

COCC was a stripped back folk album. It’s not surprising it didn’t do well streaming wise. It’s a mood album like Honeymoon imo whereas NFR is more accessible and upbeat at times.

With “The Greatest” what do y’all think Lana meant when she said “I miss doing nothing the most of all?” For me it felt like she was referring to the political climate in the US. Possibly referring to a time where we didn’t have to worry so much because even if there were problems in the world they weren’t so in our face. With Chemtrails (esp the title track) I feel like she kinda continues this theme. Living a privileged life amidst the chaos in the world and under the chemtrails (which I figured were symbolic of the chaos in the US again). Idk. I could be reading too much into lyrics but genius sucks at annotations for Lana songs so.

From the tone of that post they seem excited which makes me excited omg. Esp considering that insider hasn’t been fond of Lana lately.

I hope she chooses a song deserving of a video though. Chemtrails did NOT deserve the budget it received... sorry. I love the video but it’s just not a single-worthy song. But then again nothing on Chemtrails really is.

The only thing that’s killing my excitement is Eclipse comparing it to Yosemite. Esp because he said Yosemite was the worst song on Chemtrails and he seems to have decent taste. ?

Realistically he added synths to the background of Blue Banisters and that’s the one song on the album he’s talking about. They probably spent some time in the studio messing around but she hasn’t finished anything yet or come back to it. That’s what I’m getting from the live at least. Hopefully he did do more than one song on BB.

So that insider said they were referring to a lyric in the song when they were saying “i can’t believe she’s doing this.” Apparently this insider has been super critical of Lana’s problematic behaviour but said they were “here for it” when asked about the song. Let’s hope that means this is her redemption era where she addresses the controversies head on hehe

I don’t think it’s a country album because that isn’t unexpected whatsoever. Also her working with Mike Dean doesn’t necessarily mean the songs will be hip hop. She had Metro Boomin produce God Bless America lmfao. My guess is he probably added some synths to some songs (judging by his IG).
