the grants is so gorgeous and tranquil, it sounds like the sky opening up. i know a lot of us have felt a bit of piano ballad fatigue in recent years but this really feels like an example of how stunning a lana ballad can be, some of her best work. at this rate the album could really be one of her best

i love No Hotel, it wasn't the most immediate click as it's pretty low-key but it's so raw and emotional and it has some of that INL era magic that i'm obsessed with and i think it could be a really good album-opener. It also reminds me a bit of Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone.

Just came here after seeing Allison on her story, wow! The Pierces are one of my favourite artists overall alongside Lana. For anyone who wants a taste i would so recommend their albums 'You & I' and 'Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge' which show different sides to their greatness 

i don't focus on promotion much usually but they should send Thunder to radio or something.. i feel like it could be this album's 'hit' (like Doin' Time was NFR's) and ascend to the top of her catalogue with all her most iconic and recognisable songs as it deserves to

if Thunder is on the album (or another upcoming LP) it would make such a great single

I hope the first 'Blue Banisters' photo is the cover art instead (or something else entirely) but it really does seem like this selfie is gonna be the real cover... 

I don't know quite what it is, but i feel like there's a distinct vibe to these songs which feels striking in a way i'm not sure her release have been for me since LFL singles - not that i haven't loved her music since then at all, it's just a feeling which is hard to express.. perhaps the vulnerability and breeziness of the tracks? but yeah they just feel really deeply emotional to me atm lol
