lyrics without a voice singing them are worthless. there's a reason why we hear about beyoncé, rihanna and ariana grande and not about rich harrison, ester dean or tommy brown. there's a reason why lana has this very website dedicated to her and we're not on rickboards, jackboards or emileboards. bc she's the star, not them. and so is beyoncé, rihanna, ariana, etc. there's so much more to being a star than songwriting, and that's where the REAL talent lies. a song is nothing without an entrepreneur to do it justice. star quality babes, something no songwriting skills can buy. and, of course, VOCAL talent which is, essentially, what being a singer is. i rest my case 

this song seems very emotionally charged and personal to her, and also comes from a very specific mental place. she probably didn’t release it bc of how conflicting and complicated it is and also it’s not very relatable/palatable, but it’s definitely a treat to listen to

but no one knows what's going on in her life to stir this "outburst" she's having right now. it's one thing to speculate about it on a forum meant for discussion that she'll probably never see, and another thing to insinuate she's not in a good place mentally directly to her face without knowing ANYTHING about her current personal life. if this is actually what happened, i don't blame lana for lashing out like she did.
