The President is trying to impose Martial Law. He has not once in the past 6 days come out and said "I understand your grievances, black lives matter, and thus my administration will be unveiling a plan that will re-organize the system of the police force in this country--in order to nip the corruption and systematic racism in the bud." 
 
If they should want to burn it down, they now have every right.

Hello all. I figured this thread would help us keep a discussion of what's been happening in the U.S. and now the world concerning the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. At this point, the protests and riots are about being tired of the American political/social/economical system not being fair and safe for the people that work so hard to keep it going.
 
If you are in the U.S., on JULY 7 there will be a Blackout Day - #BlackOutDay2020 -, where no racial minority will spend a dollar. Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans have a spending power of ~3.9 trillion dollars in the economy. One day of no purchases would cost $10,684,931,586 to the economy. Lets protest where it hurts, their pockets.
 
I will try to link petitions and readings to educate each other. Anyone who wants to post information, news, books, donation links, etc is welcomed.

One month ago, a division of the Louisville Police Department performed an illegal, unannounced drug raid on her home. Not a single officer announced themselves before ramming down her door and firing 22 shots, shooting Breonna 8 times, killing her. She was nowhere near physically similar to the suspect they were looking for.

The video that people asked her to delete has already been deleted. The photos of her stories do not explicitly show anyone's face and the video that remains in her IG is that of the man who is posing for photographers on top of the car (I believe she posted it because of the poster message he is holding). Her posts are similar to the ones I've seen on other celebrities' Instagram and on TV.

Because, if there is not, now, it's purely "hate for hate" what continues to happen in her comments section.

I think the album will be postponed once again to (maybe) summer 2021.
 
This 2020 year is not good for releasing anything to the general puiblic.
The reasons are...
Everyone is "on edge" and will be on edge for a long time. Alot of People are too depressed or too angry and want to riot.
We still have big problems with a world-wide VIRUS pandemic.
Government leaders just dont give a fuck about their own people and country.
Unemployment has sky-rocketed to unbelievable numbers and will remain so for many years.
A world-wide finacial crisis has already began and will continue for at least the next 5+ years.
Lana Del Rey has been criticized harshly and is devastated by international news and on social-media,
and this might hurt her album sales this year.  If it does get released in 2020 she might see no-profit from album sales.
 
So , most likely, I will not be expecting a new album to be released this year.
Oh, and we might as well forget about the poetry book(s). That will not be happening either.

But since she never visits her own forum to chat with fans, i will not hold my breath.

I would not be surprised either       Some people will start to Nit-Pick Everything they can and drag that dead horse around until the dead horse is just bones !
 
I can just imagine how in a few months from now,  a few Congressmen-WIVEs from Washignton D.C. (with nothing better to do with their lives)
will demand Congress to have more "Special Labels" on records  - stating that "some lyrics are Racist" !
 
Because the present label...       ... is not enough for the fragile American public to understand !  
 
I still remember a time when record covers used to look so beautiful and without warning labels.
When people bought the records , they understood what they were buying. If the lyrics were "provocative" we did not shut our ears in shock.
