    it’s kinda irrelevant what she studied over 15 yrs ago, no one is saying lana is stupid on an intellectual level, she just had a witch thing going on less than 5 yrs ago but none of these things excuse her from going to a homophobic mega church especially as a celebrity.

    she’s a public figure she needs to be careful about what she says and does, considering she was all about “look at all the horrible things happening in politics”, hippy-love feminism and worldpeace just over 2 years ago makes all of this even more stupid and insensitive.

    saying “fuck trump and his supporters!! idc if i lose fans i need to make a stand against him let’s hex him!!!” and then going to a church like that.. the mental gymnastics she does sometimes...

     

     

    Going to a church =/= supporting a church financially

     

    It's the financial support that people take umbrage with (as they should). We don't know if she gave them any money. If she did, that's fucked up and I will lose respect for her, but that's too much to assume, just seeing a photo of her exiting. Lots of people go to churches just to sample them or see what they're like. I know plenty of people who've just dipped in at various churches for a single mass, then never darkened the door again. You're reading far too much into this.

    I feel like everyone's forgetting that Lana was a philosophy major in college. She's clearly done some reading about existentialism and I would sooner believe that she was at Hillsong just to see the spectacle than she was to actually worship. Keep in mind that she owns a copy of Anton LaVey's "The Satanic Witch", a book whose major purpose is to critique modern religion. She's not dumb.

    You say exciting and fascinating, we say weebstatic and cringey. This is a weird time to support her, given that she was just getting blasted for posting what essentially amounts to child pornography on her Twitter account, not to mention her hypocritical dating of Elon "Insane Capitalist" Musk when she's advocated for basically full communism in the past.

    Not necessarily true either though. While less leaks happen, a lot of times emails get sent to the wrong person, people from the inside get copies of things that won’t be out for months. To release music, most artists have to wait a good 2-3 months for copywrites/publishing to go into effect and with that said, the time between a finished track and it actually releasing is usually 2-3+ months (why two albums in a year is mostly never feasible). And 2 albums a year can and has happened before but it’s not very common (hell, sometimes people don’t even care about copywriting stuff and they’ll jusy push an album out surprising people)

     

    By the time they’ve submitted tracks or even an album for copywrite, usually some info begins to leak. Even through ASCAP etc

     

     

    Info leaking is not the same thing as content leaking. There's practically an expectation that some info will get out before a project is released, unless you're spending millions to keep things under wraps, which is essentially something that only artists like Beyoncé can do.

     

    There are a few dozen points of failure for an album that isn't yet released yet and almost all of them have been shored up to the degree that nearly anyone who participates in the unlawful sharing of an album before release will be caught and face consequences.

    But also, the guy from the Born To Die album art said that she was on speed and I believe him.

     

     

    That wasn't actually Bradley Soileau who tweeted that. His psychotic ex-wife Porcelain Black thought he was cheating on her with Lana back when they were still married and tweeted a bunch of nasty shit on his account. It was all completely unfounded and pretty much assuredly false.

    I still think it's really interesting that she hasn't come out against X-Factor. I get that she signed a contract that included an NDA but you would think that NDA would become void once they pushed her to the point of destroying her career and opening her up to a disgusting amount of harassment. Especially given that I don't the X-Factor was filmed completely live.

     

     

    If she tried to fight their NDA, they'd just tie her up in court for years, forcing her to spend thousands of dollars on lawyers until she was out of money and had to drop the case. It's not worth the effort.

    wait she scrapped a Kali Uchis collab wtf

     

     

    They wrote a song titled "Cherry Tree" together, but it was only going to feature Kali's vocals. It didn't make the cut for Kali's album, but Teddy talked about it in her livestream a few weeks back, saying it was really good and that she wanted Kali to release it at some point.
