    I think QFTC wins. It's been dragged on the longest as well.

    I think it's a great example of what could of been her best moment, but a few wrong words and blind greenlighting from her team/friends (or whomever she may have showed it to first) got her in a lot of trouble, unfortunately.

    If half of the first sentence and a few other words here and there were erased (they were unnecessary to get her point across anyway), it would have been her most iconic moment, and even her strongest.

    I dunno if it would have made a super big good impact even if it was worded better. It came out at a time in her career where no one was really dragging her for "romantasizing abuse" anymore. If anything, I wish she came out with a statement like that when Ultraviolence came out. I dunno why she didn't--  didn't she at least have twitter back then? she also could have explained herself in an interview

    QFTC was such a fever dream to me. It happened at such a weird period of time-- the pandemic was still new, we were all so confused, I had been just sitting in my room rotting for months while school was cancelled until further notice, everyone was posting dalogna coffee tiktoks, there were riots in the streets, some lady in a wheelchair was stabbin people,  and then one day I woke up at like 1pm to my friend personally texting me "WTF DID LANA JUST POST??" 

    Yeah she was kind of out of her mind for that. But weren't we all?

    Hearing squidward hit them notes actually made me a little emotional. I've never heard him express himself with such profundity and urgency. You can feel a sense of his soul and inner turmoil

    The banana thing was in fact part of the show. It's something the club was apparently known for and Lizzo encouraged her dancers to partake in it. I agree that it was wrong of her, but it's different from a rape allegation. 

    You're missing my point. I know that at the end of the day Melanie was probably innocent due to all of the new info that has came out since.  But my point is that the nature of the initial allegations are different so why would you expect the response to be the same?

    there's no comparison here. lizzo's allegations are calling people fat and encouraging them to engage in stripper show antics. melanie's allegation was rape. obviously it didn't turn out to be true but the situation is just different

    I don't care if tiktok teens discover my favourite lana songs. Why is every comment under a lizzie song "don't let tiktok find this!!." Who cares? Why does it take away from your enjoyment of the song? I don't get it. I find gatekeeping to be very juvenile and cringe
